It looks like The Bold and the Beautiful is living up to its promise to bring in the next generation of Forresters. First up? The return of a now-grown Ridge Forrester "R.J.," Jr.

The Bold and the Beautiful has hired Joshua Hoffman for the role of Ridge Forrester, Jr. "R.J.," as he is known to friends, family, and viewers, is the son of Ridge Forrester and Brooke Logan.

This will mark Hoffman's first daytime role, but his credits include stints on primetime shows Code Black, Criminal Minds, and Girl Meets World.

R.J. was last seen on-screen in 2018 when the role was played by Anthony Turpel. The youngster was sent to Europe to go to boarding school. Now older, he returns to Los Angeles, ready to start a career in the family business.
