The Bold and the Beautiful returns to the catwalk for Hope for the Future fashion preview

For the first time since 2018, The Bold and the Beautiful is set to air a fashion show complete with special guests. But who is really responsible for the fashions viewers see on-screen? Soap Central got the answer... because that's our style.

For the first time in four years, The Bold and the Beautiful is set to unleash the glitz and the glamour of the catwalk with an haute-couture fashion preview for the Hope for the Future fashion line. The episodes will play out over the remainder of the week and feature special guests.

Taylor Hale, this season's winner of the CBS reality series Big Brother, is slated to appear in the HFTF episodes. It's been something of a tradition for nearly two decades to have the winner of Big Brother pop up on B&B. Hale made history by becoming the first Black woman to win a regular season of Big Brother and she is the first contestant to win and be named America's Favorite Houseguest.

Hale won't be popping up alone. She will be joined by fellow houseguests Joseph Abdin and Monte Taylor.

In the fictional Los Angeles fashion world, Hope for the Future is a fashion line named for fashion icon and social media influencer Hope Logan (played by Annika Noelle). The fashions in the preview show were designed by Forrester Creations designer Thomas Forrester (played by Matthew Atkinson).

In the real world, however, the looks viewers will see on-screen come courtesy of B&B's costume designer Jeresa Featherstone. Two of the looks in the HFTF preview show were designed by Featherstone and were built up by Angelo Santos from B&B's wardrobe department. Other gowns were sourced and some of the gowns were rented. All of the looks were styled by Featherstone. The two Featherstone designs can be seen in the images below, with a photo of Featherstone in the center.

Jeresa Featherstone designs for Hope for the Future

Since behind-the-scenes talent often doesn't get the recognition they deserve, Soap Central wanted to share a little bit of information about Jeresa Featherstone.

Featherstone began her career in New York City. She received her master's degree in Costume Design from Long Island University, while working as a stylist on off-Broadway productions. She simultaneously worked as an adjunct professor at her undergraduate alma mater, Hampton University, where she taught Costume Design.

Her interest in designing for television and film prompted a move across the country to Los Angeles. In 2017, Featherstone landed the position of Assistant Costume Designer at The Bold and the Beautiful. In June 2021, Executive Producer and Head Writer Bradley Bell promoted Featherstone to the role of Costume Designer.

Featherstone has twice been nominated for a Daytime Emmy in the Outstanding Costume Design category.
