Baby no. 2 on the way for The Bold and the Beautiful's Tanner Novlan and Kayla Ewell

The Bold and the Beautiful's Tanner Novlan (Finn Finnegan) and his wife, Kayla Ewell (ex-Caitlin Ramírez), are expecting their second child.

Congratulations are in order for The Bold and the Beautiful's Tanner Novlan (Dr. John "Finn" Finnegan) and his wife, actress Kayla Ewell (ex-Caitlin Ramrez). The couple has announced that they are expecting a baby boy this August.

Ewell shares with People that she found out that she was pregnant around the Thanksgiving holiday, and she was later thrilled to learn that she was carrying a boy who will join the couple's first child, two-and-a-half-year-old daughter Poppy.

"I really wanted to be a boy mom," the Vampire Diaries star enthuses. "I'm excited to meet him. It'll be fun."

As for Poppy, Ewell says the little girl can't wait to be a big sister -- and she is letting everyone know it.

"She tells everyone on the street, even dogs on the street, that she's a big sister," Ewell says with a laugh. "She's really excited about it."

Ewell starred as B&B's Caitlin from 2004 to 2005 before going on to appear in series such as The O.C., Entourage, House, The Vampire Diaries, and Roswell, New Mexico.

Novlan joined B&B in 2020, but some of his earlier credits include Mohawk Girls, Cold, Rizzoli & Isles, Parenthood, Bones, and, like his wife, Roswell, New Mexico.
