Katrina Bowden is back to work as The Bold and the Beautiful's Flo Fulton after taking a hiatus to film Great White, a scary shark thriller set in Australia.
There's no need to cry over the recent absence of Katrina Bowden from The Bold and the Beautiful. The actress reports that she is back on set as the soap's fictional character Flo Fulton.
As Soap Central previously reported, Bowden took a step away from B&B for a short time to film a project in Australia (details below). Upon leaving the country in October, the actress assured fans that viewers would see the disappearance of Flo "for a little bit" and that she would be back by the end of the year.
This week, Bowden posted a photo of herself along with a caption teasing her return to the soap. "Oooh she back bissshess [devil face emoji]" she wrote. "Let's go see what moms been up to #soglam #somuchhair @boldandbeautifulcbs"

The project that took Bowden away from B&B was a shark thriller called Great White. The film is inspired by true events and follows the story of seaplane operators and lovers, Kaz Fellows (Bowden) and Charlie Brody (Aaron Jakubenko), along with their passengers, Joji Minase (Tim Kano), his wife Michelle (Kimie Tsukakoshi) and cook Benny (Te Kohe Tuhaka), who take a flight to the picturesque Hell's Reef. Unfortunately, their idyllic trip turns into a living hell when they become abandoned miles from shore and in grave danger from what lurks just below the surface. Their only chance of making it out alive is to get to the beach, but with two great white sharks hunting them, the odds are not in their favor.
Bowden told Deadline that she was "so excited to be back in Australia to shoot this film. It has been nine years since my last visit and this time around I am really getting familiar with beautiful Queensland. I feel very lucky to get the chance to work in Australia, especially on a film project I love so much that is unlike others I have done before. It is going to be a very fun adventure."
The actress also posted several photos of herself Down Under, one of which describes Great White as "a beautiful, nail-biting, character-driven, survival story... Can't wait for you to see this one!" Other photos Bowden shared detail what it was like to work under water and spend time in Australia.
Great White is slated for a 2021 release. Keep checking back to Soap Central for updates as they come.
