"I want a ranch!" B&B's Denise Richards moves to Montana

The Bold and the Beautiful star Denise Richards (Shauna Fulton) is taking the big step of moving to the wilderness of Montana, which means she's going to have quite the work commute ahead of her.

Viewers of The Bold and the Beautiful have seen Shauna Fulton take some pretty drastic steps since popping onto the canvas earlier this year -- like hiding her daughter Flo's (Katrina Bowden) part in the Beth/Phoebe baby swap. Now they're seeing the character's portrayer, Denise Richards, take some big steps, too. Although of a less shocking nature than baby-swapping shenanigans, the actress is moving to Montana!

Richards took to Instagram to share her major moving news, writing that she and her new husband, Aaron William Cameron (a.k.a. Aaron Phypers), will be splitting their time between their life in Los Angeles and their new home in the Treasure State.

The actress also opened up about what she loves most about Big Sky Country, sharing, "The first time I went to LA when I was younger I felt like I was home, same feeling visiting Montana for the first time 7yrs ago. Such a sense of peace & simplicity."

Richards also reveals that she has big plans for her new rural abode. "I want a ranch," she writes along with emojis that include a cow, pig, chicken, duck, horse, dog, and tractor.

But she's not ready to give up the glamour she enjoys in Beverly Hills. Her dreams of life with livestock go "along with the fancy."

Richards' move to Montana means that she may have quite a long commute ahead of her when she has scenes at B&B or on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, the Bravo reality show she joined earlier this year. At this time, the former model hasn't announced plans to step back from either series, despite the big move to Montana.

As soap fans know, Richards wouldn't be the only daytime star to live outside of L.A. and face long commute times. Other current CBS stars who hop on a plane when they're called to work include B&B's Thorsten Kaye (Ridge Forrester) and The Young and the Restless' Jess Walton (Jill Abbott), while former daytime star Jacob Young (ex-Rick Forrester) would travel from Utah for his B&B scenes.
