General Hospital and B&B's Ashley Jones joins Vinessa Antoine on Diggstown

Soap alum Ashley Jones (ex-Parker Forsyth, General Hospital; ex-Bridget Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful) has landed a guest-starring role on the Canadian series Diggstown opposite beloved Port Charles alum Vinessa Antoine (ex-Jordan Ashford).

It's a General Hospital takeover! Hot on the heels of the news that General Hospital star Cassandra James (Terry Randolph) has landed a guest-starring role on Diggstown comes word that Ashley Jones (ex-Parker Forsyth, General Hospital; ex-Bridget Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful) is also headed to the Candaian series.

GH fans are no doubt familiar with the drama, considering Vinessa Antoine (ex-Jordan Ashford) left the ABC soap opera last year to join the series in its leading role.

Diggstown follows Antoine as Marcie Diggstown, a star corporate lawyer who reconsiders her priorities after her beloved aunt commits suicide following a malicious prosecution. The team of lawyers that Marcie works with are a curious band of do-gooders, cynics, and scrappers -- messy souls struggling to keep personal disappointment and demons out of their practice. They work directly in the community to find justice for their diverse clients, exploring issues of racism, poverty, and gender bias.

GH fans were introduced to Ashley Jones in 2016, when she took on the character of professor Parker Forsyth, who ended up developing a romantic connection with her student Kristina (Lexi Ainsworth). However, her first soap role was The Young and the Restless' Megan Dennison, which she played from 1997 to 2000 before going on to play her longest soap role, that of B&B's Bridget Forrester, which she has played on-again, off-again since 2004.
