Check out the teaser trailer for When Vows Break, the intense new Lifetime film starring Jacob Young (Rick Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful; ex-Lucky Spencer, General Hospital) as a monster who becomes the victim of his girlfriend's ultimate revenge.
Lifetime knows how to dish out the drama, and it's coming in heaps in the upcoming thriller When Vows Break, starring Jacob Young (Rick Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful; ex-Lucky Spencer, General Hospital; ex-J.R. Chandler, All My Children).
The network just released an action-packed teaser trailer for the tense film (formerly called Faithfully), which follows a woman named Ella (Christa B Allen) who fakes her own death in order to escape the clutches of her rich, powerful, and seemingly monstrous partner Tolan, played by Young.
The Emmy Award-winning actor posted the trailer on Instagram, sharing that his latest Lifetime movie will be airing this month.

"Happy to announce my new film When Vows Break," he writes. "Release date has been bumped up to January 18th! Here is the trailer. It will air on @lifetimemovies It was great fun to be a part of!"
Young's costar Allen also shared a trailer, along with a synopsis of the film, which states, "Ella and Tolan have been living together for a year, and while they seem to be the perfect couple, something is amiss. Tolan is rich and powerful but also a controlling and jealous man that demands Ella's complete attention at all times. Fearing for her life, Ella decides on a plan to marry Tolan but escape during their honeymoon. When she puts her plan in motion, Ella has no idea that she is placing everyone she knows in unanticipated danger as Tolan will stop at nothing to find Ella wherever she is and destroy anyone who stands in his way."
When Vows Break also stars Danielle C. Ryan (ex-young Stephanie, The Bold and the Beautiful), Jaleel White, Sam Boxleitner, Maxine Bahns, and Briana Cap.
While fans of Young will certainly be happy to see him on television in When Vows Break, many are holding out hope that he'll return to daytime. He's technically considered to be on recurring status at B&B, meaning he could reappear as Eric's son at any time. However, given that the powers that be just recently broke up Rick and Maya (Karla Mosley) off-screen, a return appearance is unlikely anytime soon.
However, there's always a chance that Young could return to GH, where he played the role of Luke and Laura's son, Lucky, from 2000 to 2003.
"Lucky was a really special time and of course, I won the Emmy for that role, so that's always gonna stick out in my mind," he said in December. "If B&B doesn't have any stories for me to play and GH does, then I am more than willing to [return]."
GH hasn't commented on whether or not there are any plans to bring back the role of Lucky, but Genie Francis (Laura Spencer) would love to see it happen.
"I think the show is better every time they bring back the core players that people remember from more of the golden years," she told Soap Central. "I think that people still miss [Laura's sons Lucky and Nikolas] and still want to see them. I particularly would love to have those two boys back."
