Lifetime gives Jacob Young and Alexa Havins film Killer Vacation an encore

Lifetime's film Killer Vacation starring The Bold and the Beautiful's Jacob Young (Rick Forrester) and All My Children's Alexa Havins (ex-Babe Carey) was so popular, the network is giving it another airdate.

If you somehow missed former All My Children couple Jacob Young (ex-J.R. Chandler; Rick Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful) and Alexa Havins (ex-Babe Carey) reunite in Lifetime's Killer Vacation, there's time to make amends and get back into the good graces of the soap gods: the film was so popular, Lifetime is airing it a second time.

Eagle-eyed fans of Lifetime films noticed that the network's website now lists a second date for the tense thriller film, which made its debut in November. Fans who would like to watch it, either for the first time or for a second time (no judgment), can tune in to Lifetime Movie Network on Friday, December 29 at 8/7C.

Killer Vacation follows a happy couple named Jake and Lindsey, who are expecting their first child together and decide to go on a babymoon trip at a desert resort in order to get some extra time to themselves before the joys and struggles of parenthood are upon them. Little do they know, the trip leads to an encounter with Jake's soon-to-be-ex-wife, Gwen, and the joyous vacation turns into a nightmare.

Though the film ends up being a nightmare for Jake and Lindsey, it's a dream come true for fans of All My Children's J.R. and Babe, especially because their new fictional couple has some parallels to their Pine Valley alter egos.

"The characters are obviously different, but in a lot of ways, it's similar," Young told Soap Central in a full-length interview about the film. "In Lifetime movies, if you're a guy, you're definitely an adulterer or you're a murderer or contemplating murder. [Laughs] I mean, there are really great things for a guy to be in a Lifetime movie, and it's fun, don't get me wrong, but your character is likely not a great guy. And if you go back in time and you think about J.R., he definitely had some bad moments, of course. Especially with Babe. It parallels it in a very similar way, but not the same."
