The Bold and the Beautiful's Ashleigh Brewer (Ivy Forrester) has exited the CBS soap to take her career in a new direction.
Just as the plant version of ivy likes to grow, so, too, does Ivy's portrayer on The Bold and the Beautiful. Ashleigh Brewer, who has played John Forrester's daughter since 2014, has decided to exit the long-running series and focus on new acting projects.
The Australian actress says she took inspiration from her former Neighbours costar Margot Robbie when making the decision to walk away from B&B.

"I'm doing the acting thing in LA, onwards and upwards," she says of the career move. "It's definitely time for me and I've had Margot encouraging me for so long [saying] just leave it and see what happens. So I'm throwing caution to the wind now and keeping myself open to opportunities. I've been doing soaps for ten years now. [My exit] is daunting but so exciting."
Prior to originated the role of B&B's Ivy, Brewer starred on the popular Australian soap opera Neighbours from May 2009 to April 2014. If her post-daytime career is anything like Margot Robbie's, she'll soon have an Oscar nomination under her belt. Here's hoping!
The Bold and the Beautiful, like all soaps, does not comment on contracts.
