Cast members from The Bold and the Beautiful honored the show by performing a reading of the CBS soap's very first episode.
In celebration of CBS Daytime's 30-year-run as the number one daytime network, The Bold and the Beautiful executive producer and head writer, Bradley Bell, and cast members from the nearly 30-year-old soap performed a special reading of the show's first episode.
Stars that took to the stage for the reading at Los Angeles' Paley Center for the Arts included Heather Tom (Katie Logan), Karla Mosley (Maya Avant), Katherine Kelly Lang (Brooke Logan), Jacob Young (Rick Forrester), Alley Mills (Pam Douglas), John McCook (Eric Forrester), Darin Brooks (Wyatt Fuller), Scott Clifton (Liam Spencer), Jacqueline MacInnes Wood (Steffy Forrester), and Don Diamont (Bill Spencer).

The first episode of the series, which was created by the late Bill Bell and his wife, Lee Phillip Bell, debuted on March 23, 1987. Lee was in attendance during the Paley Center reading and received a standing ovation from both the audience and the members of the cast.
