B&B and GH star Ashley Jones pregnant with first child

Ashley Jones (General Hospital, Parker Forsyth; ex-Bridget Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful) is about to become a first time mom.

Congratulations are in order for Ashley Jones (Parker Forsyth, General Hospital; ex-Bridget Forrester, The Bold and the Beautiful), who announced she and her new husband, Joel Henrick, are expecting their first child together and it's going to be a boy.

"Becoming a mother has been a lifelong dream of mine. It seems surreal that it's now happening," Jones tells People. "Although life as we know it will forever change, Joel and I can't wait to meet this baby."

Although the new bundle of joy will be Jones' first baby, Henricks, an IT director of infrastructure, is already dad to 3-year-old Huck, his son from a previous relationship. And the toddler is very excited to welcome his new little brother.

"Huck asks every few days, Is the baby still in your tummy?' " says Jones. "He latched on to the notion of being a big brother immediately. Now, he's just ready to put all this talk into action."

As for how the pregnancy might affect her job as Port Charles' Parker, the actress says she's still hard at work but hiding her growing baby bump. "I've loved working during pregnancy," she shares. "I started taping General early December 2015, not knowing how long the storyline would last. Executive producer Frank Valentini has been wonderfully accommodating and supportive. I look forward to each new script from the writers."
