Get ready, The Bold and the Beautiful fans, because Sonny and Cher's son, Chaz Bono, is headed to the CBS soap this spring.
The Bold and the Beautiful has cast yet another high-profile name in the transgender community with the addition of Sonny and Cher's son, Chaz Bono.
The actor is heading to the CBS soap for a special guest-starring role as a minister on Thursday, March 31, and Friday, April 1, People reveals.
"I'm very excited to have been cast in a role on The Bold and the Beautiful," the 46-year-old told People in a statement. "I'm grateful that they are willing to pay me to do something I love, which is to act."

The author and activist was recently featured on Oprah: Where Are They Now?, where he opened up about transitioning from female to male and how the decision helped him gain a positive self-image.
Since introducing the storyline in which fan-favorite character Maya (Karla Mosley) revealed she'd been born male, B&B hasn't shied away from continuing the socially relevant material, even casting real-life transgender actor Scott Turner Shofield last spring.
