B&B makes big change to new character

The powers that be at The Bold and the Beautiful have apparently changed their minds about a decision related to a new character.

The Bold and the Beautiful's new character "Alisha" is already making waves, and she hasn't even been cast yet!

The CBS soap sent out a casting call for the fictional gal, said to be an 18- to 21-year-old African-American woman who's "assertive, sexy, Midwestern, unsophisticated and beautiful."

But upon second thought, the powers that be decided to make a bit of a change to the role and sent out a follow-up casting notice: instead of African-American, they'd like the actress who plays "Alisha" to be Hispanic or Middle Eastern.

The role is said to start filming in October.
