As B&B gears up for its 28th anniversary, the show's executive producer has sent out a meaningful thank you to fans.
Monday, March 23, marks the 28th anniversary for CBS' The Bold and the Beautiful, and the series' executive producer/head writer, Bradley P. Bell, wants fans (that's you!) to know the soap couldn't have gotten where it is without viewer support.
"Twenty eight years on television is a tremendous achievement," Bell said via an official press release. "I work with a brilliant ensemble of cast, production crew, writers and staff. I am grateful to CBS for their unwavering support and for their longstanding commitment to The Bold and the Beautiful. None of this would be possible without the steadfast loyalty and dedication of our fans around the world."
The soap, which also celebrated its 7,000th episode in January, first aired on March 23, 1987. Created by the late William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell, it has skyrocketed to international success and in 2010 was deemed the Most Popular Daytime Soap Currently on TV in Guinness World Records.
What have been some of your favorite B&B moments over the past 28 years? What storylines would you like to see the soap tackle in the future?
