The Bold and the Beautiful has now cast Alexandria Forrester. The character was last seen on-screen as a toddler in 2009, but she'll now be much older.
After a protracted search, The Bold and the Beautiful has cast the role of Alexandria "Aly" Forrester, Thorne Forrester's daughter with his late wife, Darla.
Newcomer Ashlyn Pearce landed the role of Alexandria, described in the show's casting call as "Beautiful. Well bred. Very upscale." This will mark Pearce's first daytime role, and her first major professional acting job. Pearce has appeared in several short films, and will be part of a future theatrical release curiously called The Movie.
"What a good way to start the day," Pearce shared on Twitter. "Finally being able to say I'll be playing Aly Forrester on The Bold & the Beautiful!"
Alexandria was born on-screen in 2004, but the character has been "aged" (affectionately known as Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome or SORAS) to her late teens. Several other of the show's young adults have similarly been aged. Hope Logan was born on-screen in 2002 and is now out of high school and working as a fashion designer.
Pearce will first air in mid-November.
