In real estate, it's all about location, location, location. And The Bold and the Beautiful's show-within-a-show, Room 8, has found itself a prime location on the Internet as a real-life web series.
For the first time in soap history, a soap-within-a-soap will find its way into the real world. The fictional Room 8 that has been featured as part of a storyline on The Bold and the Beautiful will be released as a real-life web series next month.
"This is Rafael's original vision for Room 8 -- the one that would have been filmed if Caroline Spencer hadn't gotten involved and started changing it up to make Rick jealous," Lawrence Saint-Victor (Carter Walton) told TV Guide's Michael Logan.
TV Guide got the scoop on CBS's plans to turn Room 8 into an eight-episode project starring B&B's Saint-Victor and Karla Mosley (Maya Avant), who are also writing and producing the series. Saint-Victor and Mosley previously worked together in their own web series, Wed-Locked, which seems to have inspired The Bold and the Beautiful's executive producer/head writer, Bradley Bell.
