The Bold and the Beautiful viewers will get a second taste of One Life to Live when actress Nafessa Williams joins the show this spring. Williams, who appeared as Deanna, has landed the role known as "Candace" in a recent casting call.
Another former One Life to Live player is headed to The Bold and the Beautiful. Actress Nafessa Williams (ex-Deanna Forbes) revealed to followers on Twitter that she snagged a role with the world's most popular soap.
"I couldn't wait to share this news with you guys," Williams posted. "[A]fter 4 auditions I report to THE BOLD & BEAUTIFUL [tomorrow]"
The details of Williams' B&B role haven't been made public, and when pressed for details from fans, Williams explained that she couldn't yet let the cat out of the bag.

"Sssshhhhh can't spill that yet!" Williams explained.
A B&B spokesperson offered no comment on Williams' hiring, but the show did recently put out a casting call for an African-American character named Candace. The role was described as a "leading lady. 19 to 24. A model. Beautiful. Smart. Not afraid to go after what she wants." At the time the role was listed as recurring, though it was hinted that it could become a contract role.
Williams made her daytime debut on One Life to Live in March 23, 2011. After ABC announced the cancellation of One Life to Live, her character was quickly phased out to allow the show to focus on more of its established characters.
Williams will make her appearance on The Bold and the Beautiful on May 8.
