He's been nominated as the sexiest man on daytime television for ten consecutive years in Soap Central's annual Dankies Awards. Now, Diamont has the backing of People magazine, which has proclaimed him one of the sexiest men alive.
With daytime fans long proclaiming his sexiness, Don Diamont (Bill Spencer, Jr.) certainly didn't need a magazine article to break the news to him. Of course, it didn't hurt.
In its much-hyped "Sexiest Man Alive" issue, People has named Diamont the sexiest man on daytime television. Top honors for the year went to Johnny Depp, who becomes one of three men to be named "Sexiest Man Alive" twice.
For Diamont, it's not the first time that he has graced the pages of the magazine. In 1990, Diamont was named one of the 50 Most Beautiful People. At the time, the unmarried Diamont said that he wanted to settle down with a special woman -- and downplayed talk that he was a soap stud.

"Soap stud is just a label people give you," Diamont told People at the time. "Inside this package is a Jerry Lewis screaming to get out."
Now married, Diamont reflects on what it takes to maintain a happy marriage.
"Not a day goes by that I don't look at my wife, Cindy as though it were the first time I laid eyes on her," Diamont states. "As a result, not a day goes by I'm able to keep my hands off her. And that's always good for a relationship."
