In Solo Leveling’s fantasy world, Sung Jiwoo commands an army of powerful shadow soldiers. His ability to turn fallen enemies into shadows grants him an unstoppable army. The popular manhwa and anime series portrays these shadows as varying greatly in strength and ability. But among all of Jinwoo’s forces, one shadow towers above all as the undisputed strongest. Therefore, the question that fans have is this: who is Sung Jinwoo's strongest shadow?

Bellion is the strongest shadow from Sung Jinwoo’s shadow army in Solo Leveling. He holds the prestigious rank of Grand Marshal and was born from the fruit of the World Tree eons ago. He was the first shadow soldier ever created by Ashborn, the former Shadow Monarch. Throughout his existence, Bellion was Ashborn’s lieutenant and right-hand man, a role he continued to fulfill after becoming one of Jinwoo’s shadows.

He first appeared in chapter 166 of the manhwa. There, Bellion proved his superiority by easily defeating Beru in a bout match. Beru’s tenacious attacks didn’t even leave a scratch on Bellion, who was previously considered one of Jinwoo’s most powerful shadows. While Beru and Igris are powerful, Bellion’s power and elite status make him number one.

Bellion in Solo Leveling is characterized by his imposing stature, muscular build, and distinctive features. He possesses two pairs of black wings, jagged black armor, blank white eyes, and glowing purple skin. His single-horned helmet completes his intimidating appearance.

His weapon is a massive blade resembling a centipede that has the effect of both a sword and a whip. In Solo Leveling, this versatile armament allows him to dispatch powerful enemies with minimal effort. His power surpasses all other shadows.

Bellion’s immense strength allows him to effortlessly overpower marshal-grade shadows like Beru, swatting aside attacks and smashing opponents. His speed is equally impressive. His two pairs of wings grant him flight capabilities and allow him to communicate normally, unlike other shadow soldiers.

Bellion is also characterized by his deep loyalty to the Shadow Monarch, whether Ashborn or Sung Jinwoo. He has never questioned their decisions and genuinely believes that Ashborn made the right choice in selecting Jinwoo as his successor.

As the Grand Marshal of the shadow army in Solo Leveling, Bellion takes his position seriously. His dedication to discipline and order within the ranks is evident, as shown by his promise to personally discipline Iron for his lack of respect if he were to ever return to the shadow army.

He easily defeated the Marshal-ranked Beru, killed the Monarch of Iron Body without difficulty, and decapitated the leader of the Titans with a single swipe of his sword. He arrived in the human world via a gigantic gate in Seoul, which the Korean Hunters Association initially mistook as a threat requiring all the world's S-Rank Hunters to handle. They were unaware that Bellion and Ashborn’s original shadow army was actually arriving to serve Sung Jinwoo.

In summation, Solo Leveling features many strong shadows like Igris, Beru, Tusk, and Kamish, but Bellion is the pinnacle of all of them. He has served as the right-hand man of the Shadow Monarch since the beginning. Sung Jinwoo now commands the loyalty of even the mightiest shadow in existence.
