One Punch Man: Could Tatsumaki Defeat Boros?

One Punch Man is gaining a lot of traction because of the anime’s return. The anime adaptation hasn’t released any content for years now. However, fans are excited as the third season will be released soon, and it will adapt one of the most exciting story arcs in the manga. However, fans have begun revisiting some of the older parts of the manga. There have been plenty of impressive villains in this series.

It is impossible to discuss villains in One Punch Man without bringing up Boros. He was the final antagonist of Season 1 of the anime series. Saitama took on Boros, who had traveled to Earth in search of the most powerful being. He was so strong that he quite literally consumed and destroyed planets. Fights became mind-numbing for him because nobody was powerful enough to take him on.

That being said, fans started to discuss the potential outcomes of fights involving Boros and other One Punch Man characters. Tatsumaki is an interesting candidate because she is one of the most powerful S-class heroes. Can Tatsumaki beat Boros in One Punch Man? No, it’s quite unlikely that Tatsumaki would be able to defeat Boros in One Punch Man.

Comparing Tatsumaki and Boros in One Punch Man

Tatsumaki is the most powerful Esper in the One Punch Man series. She has exceptionally powerful telekinetic abilities that can take on the likes of Psykorochi. Her performance against this villain is her most impressive feat in the manga.

Tatsumaki doesn’t have the best temperament in the anime and manga series. However, her battle IQ is quite high. This paired with her telekinetic abilities makes her one of the strongest S-class heroes. She was so powerful that she literally raised the entire Monster Association HQ.

Furthermore, she stopped a tsunami from occurring during that fight by lifting mountain-sized boulders to stop the flow of water. Last but not least, she defeated Psykorochi and also destroyed an entire city in the process. This is the scale of destruction that she operates on. Therefore, Tatsumaki deserves the rank 2 position within the S-class category.

However, Boros is cut above the rest in every way. First and foremost, he is so powerful that he has destroyed entire races and planets. He is also the first person that managed to surprise Saitama. The Caped Baldy was surprised because he was one of the only people who had survived consecutive punches.

Furthermore, he sent Saitama to the moon, which again showcases his physical strength. Additionally, he can instantly generate a torn arm within seconds—something that Tatsumaki cannot do. Boros is so powerful in One Punch Man that he can instantly vaporize beings.

If Boros took on anyone else, then they might not have had the durability to survive. Tatsumaki’s powers are impressive; however, Boros’s speed, strength, and durability seem to be far superior. Furthermore, the anime hasn’t given enough time for Boros to shine.

Geryuganshoop is also considered the strongest esper in the universe. Unfortunately, there are no feats to back that claims. Boros was his leader, which indicates that he was the stronger of the two.

Tatsumaki is exceptionally powerful. However, we are dealing with a being from another planet who has far more impressive physical abilities. For these reasons, we believe that Tatsumaki cannot beat Boros in the animanga series.
