The source material has a total of 12 story arcs. So far, the anime has adapted the first 10 and they are all categorized into seasons. Additionally, there are three movies that have been released. However, fans do not need to watch it to understand the overarching story. The first is the Mugen Train movie, which as the name suggests, covers the events that transpired in the Mugen Train arc. The contents of this movie have been split into 20-minute episodes.

Following this, there are two more movies in Demon Slayer titled, To the Swordsmith Village, and To the Hashira Training. Both of these movies are essentially the last episode of the previous season and the first episode of the subsequent season. To the Swordsmith Village is a compilation of the concluding portion of the Entertainment District arc and the first episode of the Swordsmith Village arc. To the Hashira Training follows the same pattern.

Here’s a watch order for Demon Slayer:

  • Season 1 - Unwavering Resolve arc (Episodes 1-26)
  • Season 2 - Mugen Train arc and Entertainment District arc (Episodes 27-44)

Therefore, the creators have decided to make three movies. Therefore, the Infinity Castle arc be adapted throughout the next three films.

The first of the three movies will be released later this year. Fans are excited to watch this film since viewers will finally get to see the strongest Hashira in action. Furthermore, this arc will feature all the remaining Upper Moon demons as the Corps attempts to break them down and kill Muzan once and for all.

There are some Demon Slayer fans who would want to get a head start and read the manga. They can do so by reading chapter 140 of the manga series. This marks the commencement of the Infinity Castle arc. To reiterate the previous point, we urge the fans to watch all the anime episodes and patiently wait for the Infinity Castle anime movies to be released.
