As the sequel of Naruto, Boruto has already redefined the power structure of the ninja universe by introducing monstrous celestial beings, creative jutsu, and cybernetic enhancements. Among the many strong individuals featured in the series, however, very few hold a candle to the intimidating Daemon.
Despite being a young child, Daemon is one of the most powerful characters in Boruto, possessing an extremely broken ability. Much like his older sister Eida, Daemon is a cyborg modified by Amado using Shibai Otsutsuki’s DNA. Consequently, he was believed to be stronger than Jigen and was hidden away till Code freed him. Added as a member of Kara under new leadership, Daemon was quick to fascinate fans with his antics.
Befitting his age, Daemon is an excitable boy who constantly gets up to mischief. He enjoys playing with Bug and Code, though they often see it as torment. Most importantly, Eida considers Daemon to be her knight. The siblings are very attached to each other, and the young brother is extremely dedicated to his sister.

Daemon may often seem unserious, but he is quick to flip his switch if Eida is ever in danger or insulted. Pairing this with his relentless enjoyment in fighting others, he is a uniquely menacing entity wielding powers surpassing comprehension.
Daemon is one of the few individuals in the entire Naruto universe who has never been defeated in a confrontation. He barely tries in battle, but even that is enough to overpower most opponents. Daemon is very physically gifted and is skilled enough in Taijutsu to kill others with one hit. His small stature and energetic nature also allow him to keep moving quickly and unpredictably.
Daemon’s most fearsome ability, however, is his Shinjutsu. These are distinctive supernatural powers passed down through Shibai’s cells. While Eida has Clairvoyance and Omnipotence, Daemon has his own trump card. This is the skill of Reflection, where Daemon can instantly throw an opponent’s attack back at them.

The ability doesn’t stop there, as it is automatic and does not need Daemon’s awareness. As long as he has contact with anyone, any hits aimed at him will be reflected back. Even those who only have ill intent towards Daemon and think of attacking him will find themselves damaged.
This essentially makes harming Daemon impossible in Boruto, and no one has been able to find a solution yet. Eida also believes her brother to be the only one capable of killing her, though it is unlikely for it to happen given his devotion to his sister. Hence, unsurprisingly, many fans consider Daemon to be the strongest character in the series.
Daemon’s Role in Boruto
Daemon is the embodiment of chaos in Boruto and a person no one can perfectly predict. Ever since his introduction, he has been living life on his own terms. The only consistent action he has taken in the series has been to protect Eida whenever necessary.
Right after being awakened, Daemon formed a bond with Code, though clearly seeing Kara’s leader as inferior. When Code is threatened by Kawaki later in the series, he uses his claw mark to summon Daemon, after which the young boy can easily reflect the deuteragonist’s attack. At this point, relations between Code and the cyborg siblings got complicated due to their tilted power dynamics.
When Code’s power limiters were lifted by Amado, he began rebelling against Eida’s wishes. She decided that their partnership had come to an end, following which Daemon easily defeated Code and forced him to retreat.
Due to Amado’s proposal to act as a matchmaker for Eida and Kawaki, Daemon was brought along with his sister to Konoha. He continued to serve as her guardian, ready to kill anyone who would endanger her. When Kawaki tested the antagonist’s ability by showing killing intent, he was instantly harmed.
For the rest of the series before the timeskip, Daemon played a background role. He formed a friendship with Boruto Uzumaki and even sensed the hidden potential inside Himawari. After the timeskip, Daemon remains a spectator of the chaotic events surrounding the Human God Trees.
Daemon is a newer antagonist in Boruto who has no specific ambitions apart from staying with Eida and fighting strong opponents. His role in Two Blue Vortex has been minimal so far, but fans are hoping to see him back in action.
