Stuart knocked on Cassandra's front door. Robert looked nervous because Cassandra was still sleeping since he had hypnotized her. Robert commanded Cassandra to wake up and answer the door. He further demanded that she not tell anyone about their encounter. Robert exited by the fire escape as Cassandra opened the door for Stuart. However, Robert did not realize that he dropped one of his origami birds as he rushed off.

Robert returned to his apartment, where he had been spying on Jesse and his family. Robert watched as Cassandra let Stuart into her home. Stuart was with Little Adam. Stuart explained that Little Adam had Cassandra's stuffed elephant. Cassandra was glad to see the stuffed animal, but Robert was even more pleased. Robert loaded a gun and declared that he would finally get what was rightfully his.

Angie and Jesse came home and were delighted to see Stuart. Stuart asked them to visit his art studio. They joked that they were not art critics. Stuart stated that they would know the subject of his new work well because it was based on their love. Stuart said that he wanted to give the collection to them as a gift. They were touched and thanked Stuart.

After Stuart left, Jesse noticed that Cassandra was acting oddly. Cassandra divulged that she felt weird, like she was under water. Angie assumed that Cassandra had the flu, but Jesse thought something was awry. He urged Cassandra to give him more details about her condition. Cassandra stated that she took a nap, and afterwards, she could not remember anything about her day. Jesse proclaimed that he'd had similar symptoms a very long time ago. Angie looked annoyed and pulled Jesse to the side. She affirmed that Cassandra was sick and that Jesse should not try to "create a case." She further noted that she wanted to focus on their wedding. Jesse agreed.

Robert was about to leave his hotel room when there was a knock at his door. It was an FBI Agent. The agent asked to speak to Robert about Papel.

Annie arrived at Fusion and overheard Ryan and Kendall talking. Ryan confided that his therapist felt that he might not remember Annie because he was never in love with her. Kendall wondered if this was true. Ryan admitted that although he had a few memories of Annie, he could not remember loving her. He went on that his memories of Kendall and Greenlee were much stronger. Annie looked upset by the comments, but entered the room without letting on that she heard the conversation. Annie grabbed work papers that she needed and started to leave. Annie tried to kiss Ryan goodbye, but he leaned in for a hug instead.

Annie went home to her penthouse and started to sob. Emma saw her mother's tears and asked why she was upset. Annie immediately stopped crying and assured her daughter that everything was fine. Annie claimed that she just had a bad dream. Emma inquired about the dream. Annie claimed that she dreamt Ryan was no longer part of their family. Then, as Annie put Emma to bed, Ryan came home. When Annie saw Ryan, she suggested that they jog some of his memories by making love again. Ryan was uninterested and wanted to watch a movie. She sat down next to him, but he moved away from her. During the movie, he got up and went to check on Emma. Annie ripped up the legal papers that stated Ryan could have children. She stated aloud that she wanted Ryan to give her another child.

Greenlee entered Fusion and blurted out that she needed help. She did not realize that Kendall was with Ryan. Ryan asked if he could help, but Greenlee lied and said that she needed help with Fusion matters, so only Kendall could assist her. Ryan wondered how the wedding plans were coming along. Once again, Greenlee fibbed and said that she was almost done with the details. After Ryan left, Greenlee admitted that she might have sabotaged her relationship with Aidan. Greenlee explained that Aidan was very disappointed when he learned that she did not want to have kids. Kendall comforted Greenlee. Kendall felt that Greenlee did the right thing by telling Aidan the truth. Greenlee was not so sure because she worried that Aidan did not want to marry her anymore. Kendall encouraged Greenlee to have faith in Aidan. Then, Kendall decided to take Greenlee out on the town to cheer her up.

Dixie's ghost visited Jake in the hospital. While Jake slept, Dixie urged him to stay in Pine Valley because Tad needed him. She ominously stated that if Jake left, he would never see Tad again.

Ruth and Joe were in Jake's room. They were very happy to see that Jake was feeling better. Jake asked how Tad was. They said that Tad was fine. They urged Jake to stay in Pine Valley. Jake had no response.

Tad went to see Jake. Jake was out of bed and announced that he was discharged. Jake told Tad that he loved him. Tad reciprocated the sentiment. Tad commented that he needed a drink, so Jake suggested that they have one together.

Adam was annoyed because Dixie's ghost was not present. Adam yelled out for Dixie, but she was nowhere to be found. Adam's frustration was elevated when Tad entered his hospital room. Tad was shocked to see Adam talking to himself. Adam protested that he was not talking to himself, but to Dixie. Adam declared that Dixie deserved much more grief than he gave her when she was alive. Tad looked concerned and told Adam that Dixie died. Just then, Dixie materialized. When she saw Tad, she seemed stunned and sad. Adam laughed. Dixie demanded that Adam tell Tad the truth about Kate, but he refused. Instead, Adam snidely told Tad that Dixie still looked good and that she had "the hots for" him.

Tad exited Adam's room and saw JR and Colby. Colby asked how her father was. Tad did not want to worry Colby, so he did not tell her that Adam was acting very strangely. Colby could tell that Tad was being too nice where Adam was concerned and assumed that Adam was truly sick. Tad took JR and Colby out for a coffee to make them feel better.

Dixie warned Adam that he needed to tell Tad that he was Kate's father before it was too late. Adam vowed never to tell. Dixie admonished Adam that he did not know what kind of pain he was headed for.

Kendall dragged Greenlee to ConFusion for a girl's night out with Amanda and Babe. Greenlee told the girls that she was positive she did not want children. Kendall said that no one knew how to be a mother until they had their own child. But Greenlee said it did not matter because Aidan ran off after she broke the news. Greenlee changed the subject by asking Babe about her love life. Babe told the girls about Richie drugging and kidnapping JR. She said that she had a plan to get even with Richie for what he did to JR. Greenlee said she was done with men if the relationship with Aidan failed.

JR asked Zach for the profit reports of Cambias Industries. Zach was supposed to surrender the papers to Adam when he reacquired the company. Zach asked JR why Adam was not handling the issue himself. JR said Adam was out of town, but Zach told JR he knew Adam was locked in a psychiatric hospital. Zach said he would hand over the paperwork if JR helped him discover who tried to run Zach over. JR said he would begin legal action toward Zach if the papers were not returned.

As Adam paced back and forth in his room, he refused to let Dixie get to him. Dixie said that Adam's soul was in jeopardy if he did not reveal that Kate was alive. She warned Adam that something terrible would happen if he refused to tell the truth. Adam said he could take whatever punishment got dished out, but Dixie said he might not be the one to get punished. She said one of Adam's loved ones might get the punishment instead, then she disappeared. When Stuart visited Adam, Adam told Stuart about Dixie's recent visit. Stuart said Adam needed to get better so he could go home. JR went to see his father, who was released from the psych ward.

Jesse told Angie that she would get better before their wedding. Angie asked Jesse if he was still worried about his relationship with Cassie. Angie said Cassie was probably tired from helping plan the wedding. Frankie showed up with a surprise for Angie. Angie was shocked to see an old friend, Greg Nelson, walk through the door. Greg, Angie, and Jesse decided to visit Jenny's grave and remember the good times they shared with her. Frankie and Cassie decided to pack their bags for the stay at a hotel. Jesse and Angie returned home, but the children were already gone. Cassie went into the bathroom to change into her bridesmaid dress while Robert was downstairs playing games in the casino.

The FBI agent said he needed to clear up a few details in Robert's investigation of Papel. The agent said that Robert might have shot the wrong man. Robert said Papel was dead. Robert knocked out the agent. He overhead Frankie and Cassie talking through a hidden audio system in the apartment.

Aidan met Tad at the Comeback for drinks. Aidan said Greenlee was not keen on having children with him. Tad said Greenlee would change her mind, but Aidan was not so sure. Aidan said he was rethinking his future with Greenlee.

Aidan and Greenlee spent the night alone. They constantly looked at their phones and each debated calling the other person.

Jesse paid a pre-wedding visit to his bride to make sure she was ready to get married all over again. Without hesitation, she told him that she couldn't wait to become his wife again. Once he returned to his quarters, the duo mirrored each other in frenzied preparation for the ceremony. While Frankie passed the time, amused at his father's behavior, Cassie and Angie found presents in each of their bags, complete with poems from Jesse.

A romantic moment in the Slater foyer was interrupted by Greenlee's arrival. The young woman, who had decided that she would not go to the ceremony alone, begged her friends to confirm that she had succeeded in acting as if all would soon be right between her and her fiancé, despite the fact that her face told a much different story. They appeased her as best they could but when they arrived at the casino a short while later, the overload of wedding paraphernalia got to Greenlee and she made a beeline for the bathroom. Zach promised Kendall that he would try to keep an eye on her best friend before he took off to make sure everything was taken care of. Moments later, Aidan entered the room and Kendall immediately begged him to mend his relationship with Greenlee. Aidan shot back that it was none of her business, but when it dawned on him that she wouldn't let it go, he walked away.

Greenlee rejoined the Slaters but after she found that their conversation quickly came back to Aidan, she excused herself once again. Across the room, her father had a heated conversation with Erica about how Greenlee was betrayed. He promised that he would stay silent unless Greenlee got hurt, in which case all bets would be off.

Guests started to arrive for the wedding, including JR and Colby who revealed the latest concerns about their father to their respective dates, Babe and Dre. Across the room, Ruth and Joe reveled in the fact that Jake had decided to stay for the wedding. Tad then showed up with his wife, who took great delight in the reminder that he would one day walk Jenny down the aisle. He looked around and said that it would be a great day but Dixie, who hovered nearby, said that it wouldn't.

Greg managed to find Opal in the throng of wedding guests and stumbled through a reacquainting of sorts. He then told her that he had visited Jenny the day before with the Hubbards and that they had all found it cathartic. She then pulled him over to Tad, who was quite surprised to see his old friend. Greg was then introduced to the little girl who carried on her aunt's name in appearance and temperament. On the other side of the room, Stuart milled about with Marian as she pointed out that Liza had done so many horrible things to Jesse and Angie. She was worried she wouldn't be welcomed but Stuart assured her that she would be accepted and loved easily.

Tad and his brother stepped away long enough to find that Julia and Kathy had arrived. Julia introduced her little girl to Jake and as Tad swept the little girl up into his arms, Jake heard Dixie's voice in his ear again as she reminded him that Tad needed him. At the same moment, Babe pulled her mother to the side to see if she could find out why Krystal seemed so glum. Krystal admitted that she had been worried about Adam and upset that it was another situation that she could do nothing about.

Aidan wrapped his arms around Greenlee and told her that he could live without kids but not without her. He promised to fulfill his pledge of giving her a great life and then went to get them champagne. At that same moment, Kendall found Jack off to the side and tried to strike up a conversation, but the sight of his former stepdaughter was enough to make him want to find Greenlee. He practically ignored Julia in his quest and when he found Greenlee in tears, he asked her if Aidan was the cause. When she nodded, anger burned in his eyes. When she told him that she brought the tears on herself, Jackson assumed she'd been told about the affair, took her in his arms and told her that she was not to blame for Kendall and Aidan's betrayal. On the other side of the room, Aidan was about to make a toast with Zach and Kendall to his future with Greenlee when the trio was told that the ceremony was about to begin.

Robert talked with his contact via phone to confirm that they would hunt for the diamond once again while the Hubbard family was wrapped up in the wedding. After he confirmed they were all out of the house, Robert went searching for the elusive elephant in the Hubbard residence. When his attempt failed, he realized that Cassie must have it with her, brandished a gun, and announced to no one that he would attend the wedding after all.

Jackson offered to get Greenlee away from the ceremony but she told him that she just needed space to deal with things on her own. He reluctantly granted her wish after he told her that she should call him if needed. After he stepped away, Greenlee turned and saw her fiancé and best friend wave her over to their seats, but failed to maintain eye contact due to the recent revelation.

Jesse secured singer Ne-Yo as a surprise wedding gift to Angie, and Tad wondered how the groom was able to do so. Jesse said that he called in his connections, and Ne-Yo said that after he'd heard the Hubbards' story from Robert, he couldn't refuse. Shortly thereafter, while Colby made fun of Dre as he fawned over Cassie, Frankie tried to keep his father calm as they waited for the ceremony to start. It did just that moments later as Cassie, and then her mother, entered the room. Angie was pleasantly surprised that her wedding song was performed live, and all of the wedding participants seemed aglow. Several friends throughout the room read quotes and poems before the couple exchanged vows. They exchanged rings, and Jesse replaced the one he had given her the first time they were married with a new one. He said that the original one that belonged to his mother represented their love of the past, and the new one-their love of the future. As Greenlee looked sadly upon them, they sealed their marriage vows with a kiss that had built over the course of twenty long years. The guests rose to their feet while unnoticed, Robert slipped in and joined their applause. When the guests started to mill about again, he asked Krystal if the Hubbards had a private room where they kept their things, as he had a gift to leave. She offered to take care of it for him, but as he tried to explain why that wasn't possible, Jenny started to cry, which pulled Krystal away from him.

The Slaters realized that Greenlee seemed to be speechless and assumed it had something to do with the wedding. In her head, Greenlee reminded herself that Kendall and Aidan had sex. Then, after Aidan remarked that Greenlee must be overwhelmed, he asked his fiancée point-blank what thoughts she held, and with somewhat of an icy stare, Greenlee contemplated doing as asked.

After Ne-Yo's performance, the crowd started dancing even more at Jesse and Angie's reception.

Opal asked Robert to dance, but the dance didn't last long. Robert said he needed to leave a special wedding gift for Angie and Jesse. Opal saw a gun in Robert's pocket, but he assured her that it was just an old habit. Since he worked in law enforcement, Robert said it was second nature to keep the gun on him at all times. Robert dragged Opal to a storage closet, but she said they had to return before the surprise helicopter landed on the roof to whisk Jesse and Angie off on their honeymoon. Robert stabbed Opal with a needle and she immediately went unconscious. Robert told the receptionist at the front desk that Jesse left his key and the bride's wedding gift in the hotel room. Robert said Jesse wanted him to grab both of those items for him. Robert broke into the room and grabbed the stuffed elephant. He cut it open, but it was empty. Jesse walked out of the room, holding the diamond in the air, with a gun pointed at Robert. Jesse made Robert drop his gun on the floor. Jesse said he knew Robert was Papel from all the clues-the way Robert tried to buddy up to Jesse and his estranged nephew Tad, the FBI-manufactured devices, or "bugs," hidden in the apartment and Cassie's feelings that someone had gone through her belongings. Robert suggested they spilt the profits from the sale of the diamond, but Jesse didn't care about making a deal. Robert said the diamond belonged to his family first and was rightfully his.

Babe dragged JR onto the dance floor to get his mind off Adam. Babe said she had an idea to get revenge on Richie after their dance was over. JR said he hoped Dixie would communicate with him if she was really haunting Adam. The waiter brought JR a batch of chocolate chip cookies that were similar to what Dixie often made him. JR and Babe decided to check into a room at the casino and make love.

Julia and Jake noticed Kathy was dancing alone. Julia asked Kathy if she would dance with her, but Kathy said she was happy. Kathy was actually dancing with Dixie, but no one else saw Dixie. Jake gave the newlyweds an old T-shirt from The SteamPit, a place that held memories for all of them, as well as Jenny. Dre and Cassie shared a dance beside Krystal and Tad. Adam called Colby to find out where she and JR were. He immediately told the driver to get to Jesse and Angie's reception after Colby gave him the location. Adam arrived at the casino and found the wedding reception with Dixie's help. He immediately hugged Colby when he saw she was unharmed. Adam asked to see JR, but Colby said she was not sure where JR was. The crowd noticed Adam's strange behavior and some thought he needed to leave.

Greenlee told Aidan that she was touched he was willing to marry her, even though they did not see eye-to-eye on having children. Greenlee said she appreciated his honesty, but decided she did want children. Since Greenlee was unable to carry a child, she asked Kendall to carry Aidan's child for them. Greenlee said it would give Aidan another chance to make love to Kendall. Greenlee said Jackson broke the news to her. As Greenlee got angry, she saw that Zach showed no emotion and realized he knew the truth. Kendall and Aidan tried to explain to Greenlee that they thought Zach and Greenlee were dead, and were grieving. Greenlee said that she and Zach thought they were goners too, but did not turn to sex to comfort each other. Kendall begged Greenlee to forgive them. When Kendall tried to comfort Greenlee, Greenlee attacked her. Zach pulled Greenlee off Kendall and dragged her out of the room. Zach said he did not want to hurt Greenlee and that was why it was kept a secret. Zach said he was still trying to make sense of Kendall and Aidan's betrayal, too. Aidan told Kendall that Zach sent him on the mission trip because he wanted Aidan dead. Aidan found Greenlee and Zach in the hallway. When Aidan accused Zach of trying to kill him, Zach punched Aidan in the face. Zach said if he wanted Aidan dead, it would have been done already.

Greenlee glared at Kendall and Aidan. Zach told Kendall that it was time to leave, so they went to their car. Kendall worried that she ruined her relationship with Greenlee. Zach reminded her that their friendship survived harder times in the past. Kendall felt that this time Greenlee would not forgive her. Kendall feared that Fusion would suffer because they were not "in sync." Kendall wanted to find Greenlee and explain her side of the story. Zach warned Kendall that Greenlee did not want to talk with her. He explained that Greenlee needed time to "digest" the situation. Kendall was insistent on finding Greenlee. Zach was annoyed that Kendall was not taking his advice, but he let her go back into the hotel anyway.

Aidan begged Greenlee to let him explain why he slept with Kendall. Greenlee did not want to hear it. She chastised Aidan for betraying her while she was helpless in the bomb shelter. She wished that she had died in the bomb shelter so that she would not have to deal with the pain over Aidan's infidelity. He said that he wanted to take away her pain. She affirmed that he could not comfort her. She stated that she thought about Aidan the whole time she was missing. She was disgusted that Aidan was having sex with her best friend while she obsessed over getting back to him. He swore that he thought of her the entire time she was gone. She asked if he thought of her while he made love to Kendall and stormed off.

Greenlee got into Zach's car and told him to take her home.

Babe and JR were in bed together. JR noted that he was just getting started and kissed Babe all over her body. Although she enjoyed the affection, she felt guilty about their tryst. She could not believe that she got "sucked into" JR's world again.

Greg heard Opal yelling in the closet, so he let her out. He asked why she was in there. She snidely commented that she was looking for something to kill a rat with. She immediately began to look for Robert.

Jesse pointed a gun at Robert. Angie came into the room and Robert grabbed her. He pulled out a knife and pressed it to her throat. Jesse looked nervous. Robert commanded Jesse to relinquish his gun and Jesse obliged. Angie frantically asked what was going on. Robert announced that he was Papel. Jesse said that he would give the diamond to Robert, if he released Angie. Robert said that Jesse was in no position to negotiate and demanded the diamond. Jesse gave Robert the diamond and pleaded with him to release Angie. Robert laughed and stated that Angie was his ticket out of the hotel. Robert pulled Angie into the hallway. Angie cried as she declared that she always loved Jesse. Robert pointed the gun at Jesse and Angie screamed, "No!" Robert decided not to shoot Jesse, and headed for the elevator.

Adam demanded to know where JR was. Dre said that he saw JR and Babe go upstairs to a hotel room. Adam wanted to find JR and then take both of his children home. Colby begged Adam to stop because he was embarrassing her. Tad was irate with Adam and yelled at him to leave. Adam said that he would not leave until he made sure that his children were safe.

As Adam got into an elevator to find JR, Dixie appeared to him. Dixie told Adam that he had to tell Tad the truth before it was too late. Adam refused. Dixie ominously predicted that something bad was about to happen because of him. He asked if someone was going to die. She gave him a sad look.

As the elevator opened, Adam saw Robert holding a gun to Angie's side. Just then, JR and Babe opened their hotel room door. Robert became nervous and shot a bullet into the hotel room. Robert took Angie into the elevator as Adam ran into the hotel room to check on JR and Babe. JR and Babe were both unharmed, so Adam left to find Colby. Babe was distraught because they were almost shot. She professed that she did not want to take JR for granted anymore. JR reciprocated and they kissed.

Robert held a gun to Angie as he entered the wedding reception. Everyone gasped when they realized that Angie was in danger. Aidan ran into the room with a gun and yelled for Robert to drop his weapon. Robert became agitated and fired his gun at Julia and Greg. Robert and Angie quickly left the room.

Joe rushed to Julia's side. Julia was in pain. As a tear rolled down her cheek she said that it was getting hard to breathe. Opal called an ambulance.

Greg only had a superficial injury because he was shot in his arm. After he bandaged himself up, he comforted Cassandra. As Cassandra cried and worried about her family, Greg promised her that everyone would be fine.

Colby took Kathy to the restroom. Kathy exclaimed that she loved weddings, especially when the bride threw the bouquet. Kathy wanted Julia to catch the bouquet. Colby said that she would ask the other women to step back and let Julia catch it. Then, they tried to leave the bathroom. However, the door would not open because Dixie was holding it shut. Dixie made sure the door stayed closed until Robert and Angie passed by it.

Colby and Kathy entered the reception room. Krystal called out for Colby to take Kathy away. Colby saw Julia on the floor and rushed Kathy into the hotel lobby. Adam found Colby and Kathy and hugged them.

Robert brought Angie to the roof of the hotel. There was a helicopter waiting for Angie and Jesse. Robert and Angie approached the helicopter and the pilot asked if they were the "happy couple." Robert shot the pilot and he fell out of the aircraft. Robert hit Angie in the head with his gun, which knocked her out. Robert put her in the passenger seat and he got in the pilot's seat. Meanwhile, Jesse, Frankie, Tad, and Jake arrived on the roof. As Robert took off, they ran after the helicopter. Robert shot at them. Dixie tried to block Tad, but he was shot anyway. Then, Jesse jumped off of the roof and leaped for the helicopter.
