She became famous with soap opera fans in the mid-90s as All My Children's Skye Chandler, and now Carrie Genzel will be taking on the role of tyrant reality show producer in the horror/comedy film They're Watching.
Starring David Alpay (The Tudors), Brigid Brannagh (Army Wives), Kris Lemche (Haven), Genzel, and Mia Faith (Dracano), the plot line follows the crew of an American home improvement TV show that visits a remote Eastern European village, thinking the lack of mocha lattés and free Wi-Fi will be the worst of their problems. But after their filming interrupts the superstitious villagers' private religious ritual, the situation takes a turn for the homicidal... and when the blood starts flowing, that's when things get really weird.
"Noted graphic novelists and animators Micah Wright and Jay Lender turn a classic horror premise upside down to create a fresh, funny, eye-popping twist on the genre," states an official press release about They're Watching's creators.
Watch for Genzel, who went on to star in TV shows like Flash Gordon and Supernatural after her AMC run, when the film hits theaters and On Demand beginning Friday, March 25. And for more information on They're Watching, check out the film's official website.
