Jill discovers Billy in Jack's office and wants to know what he is doing there. Jack says they are talking about the web site and Jill says she thought that Phyllis was the one to talk to. Billy then says that Jack is covering for him ... that he is there to get some brotherly advice from Jack. Jill wonders if she can give him the woman's point of view, but Billy says no. Jill then says that Billy can always come to her if he wants to talk. She gives her son a peck on the cheek and leaves the brothers alone.
Malcolm is upset because Drucilla is moving in with Neil. Dru still wants to hash out what happened "that night", in a civil fashion. Malcolm says it's really civil of her to tell him that he is a man with no morals and then to challenge him to prove otherwise. She says that's not what she is doing, but she thinks he is right about one thing ... they can't talk it out. She turns to leave.
Nikki is seated at a table looking over a file. She has her hair all slicked back and is wearing glasses ... very professional looking. Victor comes in and sees her and heads over to her table. He wants to let her know that he feels that Victoria is slowly coming around where her mother is concerned.
Victoria is backing away from Ryan, telling him to stay away from her. Ryan tries to console her and she backs further away and tells him not to touch her. Ryan says there is nothing to be afraid of ... that he's not going to hurt her. She is crying and obviously frightened. He tells her that what happened in the past is gone ... it's not coming back. He slowly puts his arms around her and she cries on his shoulder.
Olivia is thinking about what Neil said to her when she thought she was dying. He said that when she got well that they should give themselves a chance to figure out where they stand with each other. Just then Neil comes in to see her. They talk about her getting released tomorrow.
Malcolm calls Dru back. He says he's sorry for getting upset, but what she said to him really hurt. She tells him that she's sorry for hurting him but she has all these emotions rushing back at her from that night. She wants to put it in the past. He tells her that he put it behind him a long time ago. He wants to know if she's ok with that. She says that she talked with Olivia about it and she feels better about it now. Malcolm can't believe she talked to Olivia. He feels that now Olivia will make it harder on him to see Nate.
Billy asks his brother if there are any skeletons in his mother's closet. Jack can't believe what he just heard. Billy says that Jack and his mother have been at each other's throats for years and Jack's got to know something. Jack doesn't like the sound of this. He feels that Billy is over reacting about something. He tells Billy that as strange as his mother is, this is pretty normal parental concern that she has. Billy says that his mother has gone way over the line and the worst part is that he's got to pretend everything is ok. Jack can see that Billy is really upset over this. Billy tells him that it would blow his mind if he knew what Jill was doing to Mac. Jack asks him to explain, but Billy says that he can't tell him any more. He asks Jack if he will help them. Jack says that he really wants to, but that he has to have more to go on. Billy shakes his head sadly and walks out.
Mac uses her cell phone to call Katherine to say that she'll be late. Katherine wants to know if everything is ok. Mac asks her grandmother not to get Jill all riled up again. Katherine insists that Jill won't be a problem to Mac anymore ... she won't allow it.
Jill slams through the font door and walks into the living room where Katherine is having a cup of tea. Jill says that she thought Katherine would have dragged her old bones up to bed by now. Katherine asks why Jill can't ever say anything nice. Jill says that she can't say anything nice to someone who slings false accusations. Katherine tells her to drop it. Jill says she will, but warns her not to do it again. Katherine slams down the teacup and stands up and tells Jill never to threaten her. She tells Jill to stop harassing Mac. Jill calls Mac her "alleged" granddaughter. Katherine turns away from Jill, telling herself aloud not to get drawn into it with Jill, especially when everyone in town knows that Jill's son Billy is the product of an afternoon tryst with the mailman! (You go Kay!) Jill's jaw drops and she yells that that's the most slanderous thing she's ever heard. Katherine says perhaps, but what if she started spreading that rumor around town.! Jill gets very defensive and says that Katherine would do that sort of thing. Katherine says she will unless Jill says out loud that Mackenzie is Katherine's granddaughter right down to her toes. Jill doesn't say anything ... Katherine yells at her, "SAY IT!"
Ryan brings Victoria a glass of water. She tells him that the stuff about Gary came flooding back to her and she lost it. She says that it's going to take time to get over it. Ryan says it's going to take more than time and patience.
Victor tells Nikki that she shouldn't be worried that Victoria has joined forces with Diane. Nikki says that if he saw the two of them the other day, he would think differently. He tells her that it was an act on Victoria's part. He says that he is constantly playing referee between the two of them. Nikki suggests that perhaps that is not the best environment for Victoria to be in right now.
Billy arrives and Mac asks him how it went with Jack. He tells her that Jack wants more information. Mac is downtrodden and feels that nobody can help them. She is worried that Jill will find out about them. She says the only way they can get around it is to stop seeing each other.
Dru insists that Olivia was very helpful and gave her some good advice. She says that Olivia told her to put the past behind her. Malcolm agrees that she should, but she shouldn't have told Olivia about them. Dru thinks that Malcolm doesn't want Olivia to know about them because he still has feelings for her.
Jill finally says that Mac is Katherine's granddaughter. But she insists that Mac is a phony and is concerned about Katherine and Brock being taken in by her. Katherine tells her to shut up or she will make her life a living hell. Jill says that Katherine has already made her life a living hell and that she can see what she wants to see ... Jill doesn't care! Katherine turns and walks out of the room.
Billy says they can't stop seeing each other -- they have something very special. Mac agrees, but she says that his mother is a real threat to them. She's afraid of what Jill will do when she finds out that she and Raul broke up. Billy says that his mother won't put it together as long as she thinks that he is with Brittany. Mac tells him that she hates to see him acting like Brittany's boyfriend.
Ryan tells Victoria that she needs therapy -- that she can't get over this all by herself. He looks at her and says that she probably feels that he is accusing her of losing it and that she thinks that seeking therapy is a sign of weakness. Victoria realizes that's what Tricia must have said when he tried to get her the help she needed. She tells Ryan to remember that she is not Tricia. She will do anything if it will help. She doesn't want to live the rest of her life with Gary Dawson hanging over her head.
Neil tells Olivia that he has good news ... Dru isn't leaving town now that Olivia is on the mend. Olivia asks if Dru is still going to be staying at Malcolm's apartment, and Neil tells her that Dru will be moving in with him. He is really happy about it because now he will be able to see Lily every day. He tells Olivia that no matter what; she can still count on him.
Malcolm says that he is concerned about what Olivia thinks about him. Dru thinks he doesn't want to burn any bridges, but he tells her that he's only worried about being able to see Nate. He tells Dru that he has deep feelings for her and what might happen between them could get complicated. He asks her what Olivia said about them being together. Dru tells him that Olivia thinks that the feelings that have been flooding Dru about that night, might be a way of telling her she shouldn't get together with Malcolm.
Nikki asks Victor about the lawsuit he brought against Brad. She tells him that she thinks it's revenge. He says that it only has to do with the contract that Brad signed. She asks him what he's going to do about Jabot. She thinks he has been holding off to make them sweat. She says that he loves to stick the knife to his enemies -- of which she is now one. She thinks that he's really going to punish her for betraying him. He sits down and tells her that in the world of business ... she is of no consequence to him.
After Katherine goes upstairs, Jill calls her detective friend and wants to know why she hasn't heard from him. He tells her that he sent her a letter by Express Post saying he thought they should go to Mac's mother. She tells him that she didn't receive any letter. She says she'll have to think about it and she will get back to him. When she hangs up, she wonders what happened to the letter.
Billy tells Mac that being with Brittany isn't on the same planet as being with her. She says that she hates being dishonest with Raul and Brittany, and she starts to cry. Billy says that if she feels the only thing to do is stop seeing each other, he will do it. She gently touches his face and starts to leave. She gets to the door and turns around in tears and comes back to Billy. She puts her arms around his neck and asks what they are going to do.
Malcolm asks Dru if she is looking for a way out. She says that she's just scared and confused. He begs her not to leave. He takes her into his arms and tells her not to walk away from him and kisses her.
Nikki thinks that Victor is holding back from suing Jabot because of Ashley. Victor's cell phone rings ... it's Diane. She tells him that she's home. He says something about her being released and asks her if there is anything he can do for her. She says she's hungry and he tells her he will bring some lasagna home from Gina's. When he gets off the phone, Nikki asks if it was Diane and Victor says yes. She asks where Diane got released from ... jail? Victor tells her that Diane had some complications and was in the hospital. Nikki asks what kind of complications and Victor says with her pregnancy. Nikki says, "What did you say? Are you telling me that Diane is pregnant???" ... as the credits roll.
Billy and Mac continue to struggle with what to do about their budding
relationship. Still terrified of what will happen if Jill finds out,
Mac tells Billy they have to continue to keep their secret. In an
attempt to cheer her up, Billy surprises Mac with a candle lit picnic.
The two share a romantic evening and then part ways, sure that things
will be o.k. as long as they stay together. In the meantime, over a
Crimson Lights, Brittany and Rianna try to cheer up Raul. Wondering
why Raul is taking the split with Mac so hard, she is stunned to find
out that it was Mac who broke up with him and not the other way
around. The revelation just intensifies Brittany's fear that there
may be something going on between Mac and Billy. Over a Jabot,
Phyllis tells Jack that there is obvious sexual tension between his
brother and Mac and that she thinks it could add a great twist to the
website. Jack warns Phyllis to leave Mac out of it and makes her
promise to keep her off camera at all times. Phyllis reluctantly
agrees and quickly changes the subject to the two of them. Not hiding
her intentions towards him, Phyllis attempt to seduce an equally
attracted Jack. However, her attempts prove to be futile when Jack
stands his ground and tells her to leave. Back at Malcolm's, he and
Dru bask in their evening of passion and discuss how to handle things.
Dru's feelings of guilt and fear of the repercussions of their
relationship resurface when Lily calls her asking when she is coming
home to Neil's to tuck her into bed. Malcolm calms Dru down and tells
her to go be with her daughter...they have all the time in the world.
When she arrives at Neil's, she is greeted by her excited daughter.
As she leads Lily to bed, Neil asks if she'd like to come back out and
have a drink with him. He is confused when Dru nervously turns down
his offer. At Gina's, Nikki and Victor continue their conversation
about Diane's pregnancy. Victor assures a panicked Nikki that the
child is not his. Nikki, on the other hand, isn't so sure. She
wonders to herself if Diane is really devious enough to use Victor's
sperm to get pregnant. Her concerns are set aside, however, when she
is surprised by a visit from Victoria. The two women set aside their
differences and agree to work together to get to the bottom of Diane's
Kay walks in on Mac as she is getting ready to leave. Kay comments that she got in late last night and Mac tells her that working on the Jabot web site is more involved than she thought. Kay mentions Raul and Mac finally reveals to Kay that she and Raul are not seeing each other anymore and are now just friends. She begs Kay not to mention this fact to Jill and Kay again wonders why Mac insists Jill not be told anything. Mac puts it off saying that she doesn't want Jill to know anything about her life.
Later, Jill confronts Esther about her express mail package that she didn't receive and Esther tells her that she doesn't know what she's talking about. They begin to have a shouting match as Kay walks in. She tells Esther to leave and then Jill asks Kay if she signed for her package and didn't give it to her because it was about Mackenzie. Kay doesn't know what she's talking about either and wants to know what package she could possibly be receiving that has anything to do with her granddaughter. They also begin to argue and Kay warns Jill that she better leave Mac alone or else. As Jill begins to walk out, Kay shoves her on the table onto some strawberries and messes up Jill's favorite suit. Jill is livid and declares war and Kay. After Jill leaves, Kay decides that it is time to stop Jill anyway she can. She comments that she knows she promised Mac that she wouldn't do anything but she feels she has to act now in order to keep Mac from Jill's wrath. Upstairs, Jill calls the post office to inquire if she can find out who signed for the package that she never got. After she hangs up, she comments to herself that if Mac signed for the package and didn't give it to her, there will be hell to pay.
Brittany comes by the Abbott's house early and catches Billy coming out of the pool. She suggests to Billy that it may be a good idea if Mac weren't around this summer to help out with the web site because of Raul. Billy counters that Raul told him that he wants to be around Mac. Brittany decides to drop it after Billy tells her that they should stay out of it. She kisses him. As they kiss, Mac walks up. When she makes herself known, Billy pulls away and says that they were just taking a look at the web site. Mac pulls herself together and walks around to the computer and sits down to take a look. Brittany brings up Raul but Mac tells her to mind her own business. When Mac walks away, Brittany tells Billy that she thinks Mac broke up with Raul because she has a crush on him.
Waiting to be released from the hospital, Olivia talks with Ashley about her conversation with Neil. She mentions that Neil doesn't remember anything about their conversation about exploring their feelings for each other once she was well again. She tells Ashley that if Neil wants to explore their feelings for one another and take their relationship to another level, he will have to make the first move. She refuses to put any pressure on him after all he's done for her. She then reveals to Ashley that Dru moved back in with Neil and he couldn't be happier about it. She admits that she's concerned about it and Ashley tells her that Neil's just happy because it means he gets to spend more time with Lily. Neil walks in and interrupts their conversation and comments how beautiful she looks. Reece walks in with her release papers and a nurse to wheel her downstairs and she tells Neil to take her home so she can see her son.
Dru comes out of her room surprised to find Mamie sitting in the living room. Mamie tells her that Neil asked her to watch the kids while he went to pick up Olivia. He didn't want to wake Dru because she was restless last night after her "argument" with Malcolm and needed the rest. Dru comments that she wanted to go with Neil to pick up Olivia. Dru admits to Mamie that she has to have a talk with Neil as soon as possible about but doesn't tell Mamie what it is about. She tells her that she doesn't have time to get into it now because Neil and Olivia could walk in at any minute. She admits that she needs to tell Neil first before she confides in her.
PAUL & CHRIS' APARTMENT
Paul and Chris bask in the afterglow of a wonderful night of lovemaking. Paul comments that they both seem much more relaxed now that the pressure of trying to have a baby is behind them. Chris admits that she's worried that something is going to be wrong with her and she won't be able to have a baby. She tells him that she's constantly waiting for the phone to ring. Paul tells her not to worry that he's sure everything will be okay. She's thanks him for all his support and the fact that he's willing to consider adoption if they can't have a baby. She confesses to Paul that she told Michael that they are trying to have a baby and that he's not happy about it. Paul blows up and asks her why she told him because it is none of his business. She tells him that she told him because it will affect how many new clients they bring on to their new firm. Paul tells her that if Michael gives her anymore trouble to let him know and he'll take care of it.
Meanwhile, Michael spots Phyllis in Gina's and asks her to join him at his table. He apologizes to her for brushing her off and tells her that he wants to be friends again. Phyllis guesses correctly that he's upset with Christine and wants to use her to get back at her. They both admit that their relationship will be rewarding in many ways including sexually and the fact that it will bother Christine. As they laugh and talk, Christine walks in Gina's and spots them together.
Nick and Sharon are at the coffeehouse talking over coffee as Victoria walks in. Sharon entreats Nick to reach out to his sister and he does. They all share an awkward moment but as Victoria walks away she decides to confide in Nick and Sharon about her dinner with Ryan. She tells them that she has decided to get therapy because she had a flashback of Gary when she was at Ryan's for dinner. She tells them that Ryan was very supportive and convinced her that she wasn't over her ordeal like she thought she was. Nick tells her how proud he is of her for admitting that she needs help and that if she needs anything to let them know because they will always be there for her. They embrace and Victoria leaves. When Nick sits back down he admits to Sharon that he thinks she should possibly seek counseling also because he doesn't think she's over Matt Clarke like she believes she is.
Jack claims that he can help Billy if he lets him know what's going on with Jill and Mac. Billy tells him that it's too complicated. Mac sees Billy and Brittany kissing and she becomes jealous. Billy asks Mac why she's avoiding him and she admits that she doesn't know how to handle seeing Billy and Brittany together. Neil brings Olivia home from the hospital and Nate is surprised. Neil and Dru talk privately and Neil is worried that Lily may have too many expectations, but they both agree to explain to her that their living together doesn't mean that there is any romance happening. Nick asks Sharon if she is still traumatized by her rape by Matt Clark. Sharon tells Nick that time has helped to heal her wounds. After Nick leaves, Cody introduces Sharon to Carter (Matt) and when she walks away from him, she begins to shiver. Chris watches Phyllis and Michael together at Gina's. After Phyllis leaves, Michael assures Chris that Phyllis has a career and is no longer a troublemaker. Kay explains to Paul that Jill doesn't believe that Mac is her granddaughter. Paul assures Kay that Jill can cause no harm unless Mac is lying about her identity.

Michael's plan of attack with Victor. Both Jill and Jack feel it is not the
best thing to send Michael to see Victor. Meanwhile, Michael goes to
Victor's office and John Silva is there, Michael lets them know that Brad
duties at Jabot do not breach his non-compete clause. He further intimates
that going to court would be a bad idea and that this lawsuit is purely a
personal one. John asks Michael if they can substantiate their claims on
paper. Michael tells them he hopes it doesn't have to come to that. Back in
Jack's office, Brad tells Jack and Jill he feels he does not have their
support in this case. Jack lets him know that he really does not want to be
involved in this lawsuit, it is between Victor and Brad right now, not Jabot.
