Monday, June 26, 2000

With Rianna chosen second runner up and Brittany first, Mac is announced as this year's prom queen. As Jill stares in disbelief, the kids finally start applauding the king and queen, Billy and Mac. While J.T. tends to Rianna and Raul runs after an embarrassed Brittany, Billy and Mac take to the dance floor for their spotlight dance. Jill worries to Brittany that the entire campaign may be useless now. After the dance, Raul asks Billy if he can dance with the queen. A pouting Brittany then asks Billy to take her home. Impressed with her story, Tomas suggests to Nina that she change the ending to one in which the mother never finds her baby and struggles to live her life. Nina quickly insists that she won't make that change. Victor asks Nick to reconsider quitting his job and urges him to talk it over with Sharon. Later, Sharon urges Nick to think long and hard about his decision. Lauren pays Brad a visit but the two are interrupted by a fuming Jill who quickly jumps all over Lauren for what happened at the prom. Raul thanks Mac for a great night and kisses her good night. Mac can't stop thinking about dancing with Billy and greets him when he suddenly shows at the mansion



Tuesday, June 27, 2000

Back from Seattle, Ryan advises Victor that Tricia has left him and he'd like to work with Victoria. Victor okays the idea of him helping Victoria but advises him to be careful about any type of personal relationship. He then mentions Nikki's new job. Worried about the gap growing between her brother and father, Victoria offers Nikki a job to help their own relationship. Nikki stuns her with the news that she's now working at Jabot. Raul drops Mac off at the Chancellor Estate and thanks her for making him so happy tonight. Mac kisses Billy. After he leaves, Jill arrives and accuses her of chasing after her son. When Mac denies it and claims she didn't even like Billy when she first met him, Jill threatens to keep her away from Billy. Meanwhile, back at home, Billy talks with Jack and Ashley about his wonderful night with Mac. Ashley decides that the ad campaign is still a "go" because Mac was featured in their pre-prom taping. Jack warns Billy that Jill's not going to be happy about his feelings for Mac. Malcolm helps Dru relax the day before the operation. Meanwhile, Olivia boasts to Neil that she's made peace with God and herself.



Wednesday, June 28, 2000

Mac boasts to Kay about the great time she had at the prom. Jill interrupts and angrily reveals that Mac was crowned prom queen. After Jill storms out, Kay worries that Jill and Mac may be at odds and warns her granddaughter not to worry about their house guest. She does confirm that Jill usually follows through on her threats though. Later, Mac accepts a package from the Freeman Detective Agency in St. Louis. Jack blasts Brad in the Jabot boardroom for worrying about the ad campaign. Ashley announces that Mac will now be the focal point of their campaign since she was crowned the prom queen. Jill angrily enters and demands that they re-shoot everything. Frank interrupts with a rough-cut of the commercial. Everyone except Jill is impressed and the decision is made that Mac will be the Jabot Glow girl. Nikki tries to convince Victoria that her job at Jabot will be good for all concerned but Victoria calls her a traitor. After Nikki leaves, Nick and Sharon try to remain neutral but Victoria blames them as well and storms out. Olivia is pleased when Neil brings Nate to her bedside for a visit. Meanwhile, Malcolm accompanies Dru as she arrives at the hospital, ready to make her bone marrow donation for her sister



Thursday, June 29, 2000

Jill suggests to Jack that they pull Billy from the ad campaign and use Rianna and J.T. instead. Jack's amazed that she would think of such a thing and warns her about hurting her son's feelings. Nikki finds Ashley with Brad in the boardroom and after Ashley leaves, she complains to Brad about Victoria's reaction to her new job. She suggests that she work on items that won't compete with Newman Enterprises. Brad likes the idea for her and for him. Victoria runs to her father to complain about Nikki and her disloyalty. He tries to convince her that she had no malice when she took the job. Nick interrupts and confides to his father that he will accept the reduced workload only for the sake of the family. Ryan calls London to try to talk with Tricia but Keith claims that she doesn't want to speak with him. Mac opens the letter for Jill from St. Louis and realizes what Jill's been up to. Advising Chris about Tomas' suggestion for her story, Nina seeks her advice but Chris reminds her that it's her decision. Billy panics when he finds Mac has filled her backpack .



Friday, June 30, 2000

At Gina's Brad boasts to Nikki about a new product from Europe that may be good for Jabot and it won't compete with Newman's products. Victor interrupts and confronts Nikki. He accuses her of taking her job to seek revenge and demands that she quit before the family falls completely apart. After Victor leaves, Brad returns and comforts a shaken Nikki. Billy takes Mac to an old cottage on the Abbott estate where she explains that Jill noticed their attraction at the prom. She then reveals the letter she found from Jill's St. Louis detective and knows that his mother is looking for Mac's mother in hopes that she'll be forced to leave town. When Brittany threatens to quit the campaign upon hearing that Mac's now the star, Jill advises her not to worry about Mac and Raul and just keep her son happy. Brittany advises her that she hasn't heard from Billy since the prom. Nina decides to back down and change the ending to her new novel. Victoria confronts her brother and demands his full attention to work .
