The Young and the Restless is giving viewers a little post-Valentine's Day love in the form of Greg Rikaart. The popular actor is set to return as Kevin Fisher on Tuesday, February 20.
Though it would be fabulous to see Kevin arrive with chocolates and flowers, the reason for his return is likely to be more bitter than sweet. In conjunction with Elizabeth Hendrickson's exit as Chloe in 2017, the character was written out via a story in which he arranged for his family to go on the run to avoid Chloe having to go to prison.
Rikaart returned as Kevin the fall of that same year, appearing in a handful of episodes that saw Gloria's son helping Victor (Eric Braeden) hack into Nick's (Joshua Morrow) bank account to steal his trust fund. Rikkart returned once again in December when he helped Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) embezzle money from Victor. Will his next visit pan out to be just as troublesome? Or might Kevin be back to own up to what he's done?
Though eager fans are likely hoping Rikaart will make a permanent return as Kevin, the chances are slim. As previously reported, the actor has signed on for a new role on Days of our Lives. That being said, his DAYS gig doesn't necessarily preclude him from appearing on Y&R, so anything is possible. Just ask Eileen Davidson, who has concurrently starred as Y&R's Ashley Abbott and DAYS' Kristen DiMera/Susan Banks many times throughout her illustrious career.
