The brother of Clementine Ford
) has been arrested in Philadelphia for allegedly stealing items out of the carry-on bags of fellow passengers while flying high above the ground. When United Airlines Flight 186 touched down from San Francisco around midnight at Philadelphia International Airport, two passengers reported that items had been taken from their carry-on bags.
According to police, the stolen items included a digital camera, a leather make-up case, a travel bag, and an undisclosed amount of cash.
A witness identified the suspect as Cyrus Shepherd-Oppenheim, 22, of Sepastopol, California. He was then arrested.
Shepherd-Oppenheim, who goes by the name "Zach," is the son of actress Cybill Shepherd and the half-brother of Y&R's Ford. His is a student at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. Shepherd-Oppenheim has been charged with theft and receiving stolen property.
Ford joined the cast of The Young and the Restless on April 1, 2009.
