Ridge sent Carter to Bill's office with annulment papers for Bill and Brooke, and when Bill didn't put up a fight about it, Brooke and Ridge suspected that Bill had another woman. Thorne wasn't surprised to be the last to know about Ridge and Brooke's official engagement. Sally refused to tell Hope where Liam was, but Liam gave Hope his hotel address upon request. Brooke sent Ridge to see about his morose daughter. Steffy told Ridge that she was pregnant by Liam, but her marriage was over because she'd slept with Bill.

Abe overheard that Lani was pregnant, and he told Valerie. Eli and Gabi made love. Anna's preoccupation with Tony's ashes drove a wedge between her and Roman, and they broke up. Theo said his goodbyes and left for South Africa. Jennifer went on a date with Dr. Henry Shaw at the pub, and Eric served them their meal. Projections for Gabi Chic appeared strong, and Kate complained to Andre that Stefan would get the credit for her work. Stefan continued to push Abigail's buttons and flame her jealous feelings about Chad and Gabi. Vivian cautioned Stefan not to fall for Abigail. Chad offered a truce with Stefan. John informed Chad that someone inside DiMera had sabotaged the company, and the evidence pointed toward Andre. Chad caught Vivian eavesdropping. Andre professed his love for Kate, and after talking to Lucas, Kate told Andre that she loved him as well. Andre fired Gabi. After exiting rehab, Lucas asked Chloe out on a date. Vivian urged Stefan to kill Andre. Andre was murdered.

Laura withdrew from the mayoral race when she received word that Spencer had been injured in a skiing accident. Valentin expressed an interest in taking Laura's position on the hospital's board. Ned asked Alexis to join his campaign, but she turned him down because she didn't agree with his vision for the Charles Street district. Franco was unsettled when he ran into Jim Harvey, Betsy's ex-boyfriend. Jim was surprised when Franco revealed that Drew was in Port Charles. Jason and Sonny contacted the new P.K. Sinclair by email in the hopes of using Cesar Faison's son to lure Faison out of hiding. Drew and Sam decided to get married in the penthouse by the end of the day. Liesl got drunk and ended up at Anna's house to talk about Faison. Liesl explained that she'd hidden Nathan from Faison because of the way Faison had treated his other son, Heinrich. Faison knocked Liesl out as she left Anna's home. Anna suggested that she and Sonny work together to deal with Faison. Julian warned Sonny that Jim Harvey was trouble. Michael received the results of the paternity test, which confirmed that he was the father of Nelle's baby. Ava had a troubling dream.

Inspired by Sharon's generosity toward Kathy and her family, Nikki and Nick decided to purchase Kathy's former building and fix it up for low-income renters. Upon returning home, Lily struggled with accepting Sam as part of her family. Scott flew to Paris to apologize to Abby. Abby talked Victor into selling Hashtag to Scott on the condition that Scott run the magazine from another city. Hilary decided that she wanted to have a baby. Graham lied about being diabetic and tricked Ashley into handing him a syringe. Graham attempted to use the same syringe to inject Dina with the formaldehyde he'd stolen from Ashley's lab, but in an ensuing struggle, Dina injected him with the toxic substance. Paul suspected Ashley had been involved after finding her fingerprints on the syringe. After a doctor determined that Graham wouldn't recover, Dina asserted her rights as Graham's wife to take him off life support. Mariah filled a journal with personal thoughts. Determined to make his label successful, Devon pressured Tessa to write a hit song. After Tessa suffered from writer's block, she swiped Mariah's journal and used Mariah's words to write lyrics to a song. During a live television performance of Tessa's new song, Mariah angrily accused Tessa of stealing the words from Mariah's journal to write the song.
