Sheila continued to ingratiate herself to Eric and stood by his side when Ridge arrived to say that he'd taken advantage of Quinn just because he could. Ridge advised Eric to go home to his wife, but Eric disowned Ridge instead. Thomas was overwhelmed when Bill told him about Caroline's unnamed terminal disease. Caroline was angry with Bill for lying, but when Thomas said he wanted to spend her remaining time with her, she didn't contradict Bill's lie. The Spencer, Forrester, and Spectra clans took Bill's jet to Monte Carlo.

Jennifer had harsh words for Brady about Eric's feelings for her. Xander tried to make a deal with John and Paul in exchange for the name of the person who had murdered Deimos. Bonnie and Hattie set their plan in motion. Abigail, Tony, and Theo worked to clear Chad. Gabi was upset and hurt after she found Abigail's ring in Chad's coat pocket. Chad and Gabi had a fight about the ring. Abe learned that Theo was working for Chad. Steve and Kayla found time for romance. Steve and Kayla packed up her office. Joey talked to Roman about his guilt over Ava's death. Steve overheard Tripp berate Kayla. Steve learned more disturbing news about Tripp from Claire. Dario threatened Abigail and told her that he would turn Chad in to the police if she did not go with him into the Witness Protection Program. Gabi was shocked to learn of Dario's arrest. Gabi told Chad that Dario had tricked Abigail into marrying him. Chad begged Abigail not to leave town and to tell him what she was hiding. Theo removed the photo of Chad from Dario's phone just in time. Dario pushed Chad into harm's way.

Sonny was lured to the Black Duck Distillery, where Garvey attempted to ambush him, but Sonny quickly gained the upper hand and shot Garvey. Sam followed Sonny to the distillery and confronted him with a gun. Sonny managed to get Sam to lower the gun, but the gun went off and shot Sonny in the leg. Sam kicked Sonny down a shaft then fled. Garvey sealed Sonny in then made his way to the hospital, where Carly caught Garvey attempting to kidnap Elizabeth. Jason was horrified when Sam collapsed. Sam suffered seizures and slipped into a coma. Finn diagnosed Sam with toxoplasmosis, but Scout tested negative for the bacterial infection. Liesl met with Hayden's ex-husband, Jared Preston, and persuaded him that he deserved compensation for going to jail for Hayden. Spencer escaped his captor and returned home. Dante dropped the charges against Valentin when Spencer was forced to admit that he had no idea who had kidnapped him. Maxie returned home for a surprise visit, but she left town hours later for a conference in Paris.

Sharon contacted the police after she answered a call from a terrified sex trafficking victim on the crisis hotline. Ashley suspected that Dina was suffering from depression. Hilary aired the footage of Victor slugging Nick on her show. Nick decided to go into business with Noah, expanding the Underground into a chain in college towns. Devon surprised Mariah with tickets to a music festival in San Francisco, but he was dismayed when she invited Noah and Tessa to tag along. Phyllis found Victoria unconscious in the Jabot elevator. A doctor confirmed that Victoria had suffered a mild concussion after her fall. The doctor recommended that Victoria avoid stress, but Victoria refused to take time away from work. Reed and Mattie went on their first date and shared a tender kiss. Charlie warned Reed to stay away from Mattie. Mattie started an internship at the Hamilton-Winters Group, which opened new offices at the Athletic Club. Cane was confident that Jack would hire him at Jabot, but he was livid when Victoria talked Jack out of it. Lily worried about her family's finances and felt responsible for making everything right. Jordan helped Lily film footage to submit for a national television commercial. A jealous Hilary learned about the commercial and snagged an audition herself. Jesse arrived in town and tried to extort more money from Cane. When Cane hesitated to pay, Jesse asked Billy how much he was willing to pay for what Jesse knew.
