Maya and Rick asked Nicole to sign the corrected adoption papers, but Nicole saw it as her chance to get her only child back. Zende urged Nicole to sign the papers and promised that they'd make their own family. Julius asked Maya if she could make the same sacrifice for Nicole as Nicole had made for Maya. After Eric gave Katie a job in marketing, Katie told Ridge and Quinn that they'd have no problems from Katie. Steve almost caught Tripp and Jade discussing their plan to frame Kayla. Chloe decided to give Holly back to Nicole. A judge turned the tables on Nicole and placed Holly in foster care. Nicole told Brady that she would be strong for Holly. Abigail was hurt to see Chad and Gabi together. Chad was shocked to learn that Abigail planned to marry Dario. Andre and Kate told Chad that they got married to save the company. Andre warned Gabi that she was on notice. Jennifer found the letters Eric had written to Nicole then broke things off with him. Sonny made threats against Deimos, who then sought his own revenge. Rory proved to Rafe and Hope that Deimos was the "Candy Man." Sonny had his dream job but not without a warning from Victor. Marlena talked to Claire about sex, Theo, and their feelings for each other. Eli made up with his mother. Julie gave Eli the Martin House as part of his history in Salem. Ava was shattered when she saw herself in the mirror. Ned persuaded Olivia not to fight Julian about visitation with Leo. Stella was shocked when Molly inadvertently let it slip that Shawn Butler was T.J.'s biological father. Furious, Stella confronted Jordan at the police station in front of several police officers. Spencer gave his stamp of approval when Laura agreed to move in with Kevin. Spencer tried to reclaim his birthright, but Nina warned him that Valentin's assets and holdings would be put into a trust for Charlotte. Spencer implored his grandmother to let him hire an attorney. Josslyn rebelled by throwing a party while Carly was away, but things got out of hand when some of the guests showed up with alcohol. Nelle agreed to go out on a date with Michael, but she worried about Carly's reaction when Carly found out. Sonny and Carly flew to Sonny's island for business, but they ended up stranded at the resort when a storm hit and knocked out the power. Sonny and Carly's tryst turned dangerous when an enemy showed up on Sonny's doorstep with a gun. Jason arrived in time to save Sonny and Carly, but a stray bullet nicked Jason's arm. Sam continued to be plagued by troubling visions and an overwhelming sense of dread about Jason.

Cane and Lily told the twins about the sexual harassment lawsuit against Cane. Both sides in the case agreed to an expedited discovery. During a deposition, Victoria berated Juliet for lying. Lily was devastated when Leslie presented hotel security footage of Cane and Juliet entering his hotel room together and Juliet leaving the next morning. Cane maintained that he hadn't sexually harassed Juliet, and Victoria pledged to continue to fight the lawsuit. Jordan had doubts about his relationship with Hilary because of her need for vengeance against Lily. Devon comforted Hilary after Jordan walked out on her. Chelsea suspected that Jordan considered Lily to be more than just a friend. Chelsea told Nick about her past with Jordan. Sharon sensed something shady about Zack. Abby hesitated to go on a real date with Zack, but she agreed to attend the charity concert together. Jack attempted to get Ashley, then Gloria, to seduce Graham away from Dina, but both women declined. Ravi's research determined that Graham had been a wannabe actor who hadn't had any roles for years. Graham convinced Dina to sign her will. Dina revealed to Ashley that she and Graham had a deal. Nikki's stress level escalated until she suffered a multiple sclerosis relapse. Tessa found Nikki helpless on the floor, but Nikki forced her not to tell Victor. Against the advice of her doctor, friends, and family, Nikki remained determined to perform at the charity concert to prove that she didn't need Victor.
