The decision upset his family, and Steffy warned Sally that Steffy would be watching her. Quinn went to Ridge with concerns about Katie and wound up making out on his bed with him. To appease the threatening Katie, Ridge decided to let Katie's mediocre jewelry be in Quinn's collection, and Katie said their secret was safe with her.

Jennifer worked out a plan to give Nicole and Holly time to visit with Brady. Justin told Deimos that he was out at Titan and no longer owned the mansion. John and Marlena prayed for Brady. John had harsh words for Chloe while she was visiting Brady. Eric stalled Chloe so that Nicole and Holly could visit with Brady. Nicole and Holly willed Brady to live. Marlena urged Chloe to give Holly back to Nicole. Rafe arrested Nicole, and Chloe took Holly away from her. Steve started on a new case. Adrienne told Lucas she was ready to make love. Abigail had second thoughts when she learned what would be expected of her if she married Dario. Rafe did not approve of Dario's deal with Abigail. Lani and J.J. found a human skull on the island. Gabi learned that Chad had not destroyed the amulet. Abigail sensed that Chad was in danger. Eli helped Gabi realize that she still loved Chad. Gabi and Chad told each other how they felt and then kissed. Paul became ill after an insect bit him. Jade secretly taped Claire and Theo making love. Victor told Deimos that he wanted nothing more to do with him. Hope and Rafe realized that the Kiriakis jet had gone down.

Nathan warned Amy not to use his image for her column. Amy agreed to take the picture down, but she was contacted by a publisher who wanted to meet "Man Landers." Sonny and Carly confronted Ava about tampering with Morgan's medications. Ava threw a kerosene lamp in a fit of rage. Sonny and Carly managed to escape the warehouse fire, but Ava was trapped and suffered second- and third-degree burns over fifty percent of her body. Kiki was horrified by what her mother had done and decided to wash her hands of Ava. Julian was granted bail and released from jail. Alexis worried that Julian would retaliate for what had happened to Ava, but Julian admitted that he didn't blame Sonny. Alexis' suspension from the Bar Association was lifted. Elizabeth managed to get through to Jake before he unleashed the Chimera. Valentin was shot by gunmen attempting to steal the deadly biotoxin. Anna made certain the WSB destroyed the Chimera. Anna was given orders to arrest Valentin for treason. Lulu warned Valentin about the arrest warrant in the hopes that he would do the right thing and sign over custody of Charlotte before he went to jail. Valentin decided to take Charlotte on the run.

Sharon's divorce from Dylan was finalized. Hilary admitted to Devon that she'd been in his penthouse when he and Mariah had had sex. Hilary advised Juliet to file a sexual harassment lawsuit. Victor flashed back to arranging for Dr. Harris to look after Chloe. Chelsea found a sketch of Chloe's wedding dress in Dr. Harris' home. Nick lured Dr. Harris out of his house, and Chelsea found Chloe dead from a drug overdose inside. A devastated Kevin blamed Nick and Chelsea for Chloe's suicide. Abby confessed to Victor that she'd used Newman funds to proceed with her startup incubator project, but she'd had second thoughts and returned the money. Victor decided to pursue Abby's idea after all. Billy and Phyllis decided to move in together. Nikki grappled with whether or not to take Victor back, but she wanted to wait to make a decision until after her piano concert. Nick pushed Nikki to cut Victor out of her life for good, while Victoria wanted Nikki to do anything that would put an end to the lies. The Abbotts were surprised when Ashley invited Dina to a family dinner, during which Dina became uncharacteristically sentimental. Ashley suspected that Dina was dying, but Graham denied it. Graham was adamant that he and Dina return to France. Ashley was suspicious when she interrupted an argument between Dina and Graham.
