Liam had a knock-down, drag-out fight with Bill that ended in Liam wiping blood on Bill's face and Bill crying alone on the floor.

Stefan and Vivian moved into the DiMera mansion after a new DNA test confirmed Stefan was Stefano's son. Andre told Kate about his feelings for her. Brady seduced Eve, but Eve was wary of his motives. After kissing Paul on New Year's Eve, Will broke things off with Sonny. The hospital offered Theo a spot in a clinical trial in South Africa for rehabilitation. When Theo balked at leaving his loved ones, Claire offered to go with him. Ciara confronted Rafe about his affair, and Rafe offered to tell Hope the truth. Jennifer was devastated to learn from Anna that Eric was still in love with Nicole. Vivian congratulated Andre on their successful plan to take over the company.

Cassandra confronted Finn about planting the bug in her phone. Cassandra blew a dose of her addictive opioid in powder form into Finn's face with the intention of abducting him and getting him hooked on the drug. Anna managed to reach Finn in time to save him from Cassandra's diabolical intentions. Cassandra was found in an alley after she'd been injected with an overdose of her powerful opioid. The WSB took a comatose Cassandra into custody. Ned quit his job at ELQ when he and Michael disagreed about the future of the Charles Street district. Olivia suggested that Ned run for mayor. Curtis and Alexis advised T.J. and Molly to document their landlord's illegal treatment of the building's tenants. Julian assured Alexis that he would keep an eye on Molly. Sam pulled away from the New Year's kiss she shared with Jason. Nelle found a kindred spirit in Ava. Ava was elated when Griffin revealed that he'd tweaked Dr. Klein's formula and had consulted a plastic surgeon about completing Ava's treatment. Spinelli helped Jason and Sonny figure out that the manuscript that had spooked Cesar Faison had been written by Faison's son. Liesl confessed that Faison was Nathan's father when a DNA test confirmed that Nathan was not a Cassadine.

Before leaving town, Jill appointed Billy as co-CEO of Chancellor. Cane offered J.T. a job. Cane and Lily continued to believe that the other didn't want to reunite. Phyllis and Billy pushed Lily and Cane to admit that they still loved one another. After agreeing to put their divorce on hold, Cane and Lily succumbed to a passionate kiss. Nick confronted Abby about her kiss with Scott. Nick told Sharon about the kiss, but he left Abby's name out of it. Mariah informed Sharon that Faith had also seen Scott and Abby kissing. Sharon revealed to Scott that she knew about the kiss, and he confessed to having sex with Abby in the storage locker. Sharon excoriated Scott for his betrayal. Sharon and Abby got into a catfight at the Athletic Club. During the fight, Christian disappeared on Chelsea's watch. Nick blamed Chelsea for Christian's disappearance but later regretted his harsh words. Ashley and Jack discovered that Dina had taken Christian, believing the boy was a young Jack. Jack and Ashley agreed to arbitration to avoid damaging their family by dragging things out. The Abbotts considered putting Dina into a memory care facility. Graham returned to town and threatened to take Dina away. Abby arranged a business trip to Paris to avoid working with Scott. Sharon threw Scott out and found an engagement ring among his belongings, but it didn't change her decision to end their relationship.
