Quinn tested the outdoor shower Christmas gift she'd gotten for Eric and wasn't the least bit shy when Ridge slithered out from the bushes and saw her naked. R.J. got everything he'd ever wanted for Christmas when Brooke and Ridge got engaged. Bill was certain that Ridge would hurt Brooke again, and Bill and Brooke would reunite. The Forresters opted to spend Christmas in their own homes, making their own memories, but their love for Eric and longing for Forrester traditions drew them piano-side for caroling and eggnog at the mansion.

Abigail told J.J. that she saw Chad and Gabi kissing. Gabi told J.J. that they were through. Abigail decided to leave town; Chad had moved on with Gabi, and there was no hope for a future with him. Lani was back in town and gave J.J. the cold shoulder. Chloe went into labor while stranded in a snowstorm with Nicole. Nicole delivered Chloe's baby, unaware that it was her own child. Brady and Deimos arrived in time to rush Chloe to the hospital. Chloe's health was at risk. Nicole chose the name Holly for the baby. Victor warned Deimos not to hurt Philip again or else he would regret it. Philip said goodbye to Victor and Kate. Kate went with Adrienne to her first chemo appointment. Dario caught Paul checking out shipments on the dock. Sonny and Dario were at odds. Rafe cheered up Hope with a visit and a gift. Chad and Gabi exchanged gifts and almost made love. Kayla, Steve, Roman, and Joey spent time together at the pub and made Jade feel like part of the family. The Horton family kept with tradition and placed their special ornaments on the tree. Dario shocked Gabi with the news that Abigail was alive and in Salem. Chad could not believe his eyes when he walked in the nursery and saw Abigail holding Thomas. Chad's joy turned to anger after Abigail told him why she had faked her own death.

Nelle spent Christmas Eve with the Corinthos family, and Carly was unaware of the tension between Sonny and Nelle. Maxie surprised Sam with a gender-reveal cake at the baby shower, but Sam refused to cut into the cake until she and Jason were alone. Julian blackmailed Alexis into letting him recover in her home when he learned that Kristina had moved out. Julian and Alexis shared a passionate kiss. Lulu told Dante that she intended to sue for full custody because she did not want her daughter raised by her brother's killer. Nina assured Valentin that she'd help him retain custody of Charlotte. Valentin told Anna a story about his past that was identical to something that had happened to her. When Anna heard Charlotte humming a familiar tune, she had a brief flashback to her early days as a spy. Emma showed Anna a photo that Emma had found of her grandmother in Valentin's box of mementos. Tom escaped from the cage Franco had imprisoned him in and turned the tables on his captor. Dante informed Franco that Tom had been found stabbed to death. Finn saved Hayden's life with an experimental serum. Naomi returned to Port Charles after her jail sentence was commuted.

Jill threatened to sue Jack for evicting Brash & Sassy. Paul insisted to Christine that Dylan was ready to take on a dangerous undercover assignment. Faith became upset by her parents' constant fighting and ran away. Victor found Faith, who announced that she wanted to stay at the ranch with Victor and Nikki. Lauren remained troubled by Fenmore's lackluster sales. Phyllis told Jack that she was ready to move on from Jabot, and she accepted a job with Lauren to revamp Fenmore's online presence. Devon agreed to reinstate Hilary at GC Buzz, including giving her complete control over stories. Lily got Barry to admit that he hadn't lined up any jobs for Hilary and that Hilary had just used him to manipulate Devon. Devon confronted Hilary about her lies, and they discussed their trust issues. Esther agreed to return to the Chancellor mansion to live and work. Gloria popped out of a Christmas gift as a surprise for Lauren and Michael, and she intended to stay with them indefinitely. Gloria objected to Kevin and Chloe's reunion. Billy's wish for a Christmas miracle was for Jill to stay out of his relationship with Victoria, and Jill promised she would. Ashley and Traci were crushed when Jack refused to allow Billy to stay for Christmas Eve dinner. The Newmans celebrated Christmas Eve with holiday traditions. Dylan and Sharon glumly prepared to get through Christmas without Faith or Sully, but Nick stunned them with a visit from Christian.
