Steffy accepted the CEO position and softened toward Wyatt and Quinn. Liam appealed to Eric to wake up to the truth about Quinn, but Eric gave Liam a dose of truth about himself and unequivocally sided with Wyatt in the battle for Steffy. Quinn put her murder fantasy on simmer and reiterated her feelings to Katie about the appropriateness of Katie's relationship with Eric. Brooke voiced her concerns to Eric about choosing Steffy as CEO and to Katie about riling Quinn up with the cheek kiss. Katie videotaped Quinn telling Liam to enjoy his days with Steffy because they'd be his last.

Jason and Curtis' investigation led them to a pawnshop where a mystery person spied on them as they questioned the shop's owner. Julian reached out to the mystery person at the pawnshop. Ava figured out that Alexis had been drinking on the night she ran Julian down with a car. Sonny told Jason about the tryst with Nelle. Jason urged Sonny to be honest with Carly, but Sonny feared that he'd lose Carly for good. Nelle vowed to make Carly pay. Hayden's health continued to deteriorate. Finn stumbled across something that might help Hayden. Kiki helped lure Tom to Franco's studio. Franco knocked Tom out and locked him in a dog crate. Tom begged to be let go, but Franco was determined to make the streets of Port Charles safe for women. Elizabeth invited Franco to spend Christmas with her. Lulu found evidence that Claudette had been a surrogate rather than Charlotte's biological mother. Valentin confessed that he and Lulu were Charlotte's parents. DNA tests confirmed Valentin's claim.

Phyllis overheard Jack tell Ashley about his plan to take over Fenmore's. Phyllis developed an idea to expand Fenmore's Internet presence. Phyllis decided to make some changes in her life, and she started by dyeing her hair blonde. Jack served Brash & Sassy with an eviction notice. Ashley worried that Jack was becoming ruthless. Billy adamantly refused to temporarily take office space from Newman. Victor offered to step down from Newman Enterprises if Nick took over, but Nick declined. Dylan confided to Sharon that he felt left out because he wasn't a Newman. Nick and Phyllis threw Summer a surprise birthday party.
