Quinn's last-minute decision to don Ridge's showstopper saved the fashion show, and orders for gowns and jewelry poured in. Brooke insisted that R.J. and Bill spend a day bonding. As R.J. got a whiff of the money stashed in Dollar Bill's safe room, Ridge absconded with Brooke to Stephanie's gravesite to remind Brooke that Stephanie had wanted them to lead the family. When he presented Stephanie's ring, Brooke wondered if Ridge was proposing to her. Eric tried to assuage Quinn's concerns about Katie moving next door, but upon seeing "OX Katie" in a text message to Eric, Quinn put a big "X" on Katie's moving plans. There was no way Quinn would allow Katie to move next door to Quinn and Eric.

Andre told Laura that Abigail was back in town. Andre got Chad out of the house so Abigail could visit with Thomas. In court, Adrienne was there for Justin when he needed her. Justin pleaded with the judge to consider all the facts in Hope's case. Hope's friends and family stood by her as she awaited her fate. Chad and Andre condemned Hope's actions and asked the court for justice for their father. The judge sentenced Hope to twenty-five years without parole. A shocked Jennifer fainted when she saw Abigail standing at her front door. Abigail told Jennifer what she had been up to since she had left Salem. Sonny made Justin think about his past life with Adrienne. Gabi walked out on J.J. after he tried to explain the reason for his affair. J.J. begged Chad to help him get Gabi back. Theresa set up a plan to drive Brady away for good. Victor showed kindness to Theresa when she needed it most. Theresa said goodbye to her parents and Tate and left Salem. Shane made plans to protect Theresa. Victor consoled Brady on one of the worst days of his life. Blanca had it out with Dario about his new business deal. Eduardo made his move on Kate. Jade told Joey that her pregnancy was real. Adrienne and Lucas were about to say "I do" when Justin walked in and stopped the wedding.

Jax urged Alexis to get help when she got drunk at a bar, picked up a stranger, and passed out in a run-down motel room. Carly invited Jax to stay at her house. Josslyn's matchmaking efforts paid off when Jax and Carly kissed. Bobbie was certain Nelle had a hidden agenda. Nelle snooped through Carly's wallet. Bobbie was offered a job at the hospital. Tracy arranged for Finn to treat Hayden at the Quartermaine mansion. Franco paid Elizabeth's rapist a visit and threatened to harm him if Tom went near Elizabeth again. Tom sought Elizabeth out to apologize and ask her to keep Franco away from him. Sonny was arrested after he confessed in church that he'd been responsible for Morgan's death, but he had a change of heart when Jason revealed that someone else had ordered the hit on Julian. Julian received a call from a man named "Jessup" who'd been pulling Julian's strings for months. Jason followed up on the lead that Sonny's broker provided, but Sam learned that Oscar Jessup had died in 1990. Valentin petitioned for custody of Charlotte and won.

Cane recovered from surgery, and Lily presented his ideas to Billy and Victoria on her husband's behalf. Traci returned to Genoa City for the holidays. Phyllis refused to move to New York. Sharon insisted on doing a live interview on GC Buzz to tell her side of the story. Hilary continued filming when a police officer arrived to arrest Sharon. Dylan appealed to Nick not to press charges, and the charges were dropped after Nick refused to testify against Sharon. Hilary suspected that Mariah had known Sharon's secret all along. Nick invited Sharon and Dylan to attend a joint birthday party for Christian and Katie. Nick and Chelsea bonded over being single parents. Faith declared that she wanted to live with Nick and Christian. Sharon was livid when Dylan dropped Faith off at Nick's without consulting her, and she threw Dylan out. Billy convinced Victoria to give Travis a second chance, unaware that Travis had slept with Michelle after a fight with Victoria. Travis kept Michelle's identity a secret when he and Victoria ran into his ex at the Underground. Michelle blabbed about her tryst with Travis to Ashley, who relayed the news to Billy. Travis told Victoria that Michelle was in town, but he didn't mention that he'd slept with his ex. Travis ordered Michelle to leave town, but she remained convinced that he had feelings for her. Billy looked on as Travis proposed to Victoria in the park.
