Nicole conveyed to Zende her determination to carry another child for Rick and Maya. Upset and inebriated, Zende convinced Sasha to go to Hawaii with him. Moments before the insemination, Nicole backed out of the surrogacy for Zende's sake. She tried to call Zende, who was on the jet ride home, making out with Sasha. Deciding that Brooke would be Mrs. Spencer one day, but not the day that Ridge had ruined, Bill walked out on his wedding. Eric blasted Ridge for the coup attempt and ordered Ridge to work beneath Quinn and Wyatt on the next fashion show. Wyatt reluctantly agreed to a divorce. Steffy started the tattoo removal process and moved in with Liam.

Hope told the D.A. that she had killed Stefano. Chad, stunned by the news, asked Hope to tell him about his father's death. Ciara came to terms with her mother's guilt and agreed to stand by her. Paul and Derrick turned to Sonny for help. Andre helped Steve and John find Orpheus. John and Steve rescued Kayla and Marlena and killed Orpheus. Sparks flew between Adrienne and Justin when he learned that she and Jennifer had purchased the Spectator. Shane warned Theresa that she was in danger. Theresa asked Victor for his help. Shane and Kimberly agreed to go along with Theresa's plan. Deimos asked Nicole if they could try again to make things work between them. Eduardo and Dario made a deal to work with Deimos. Chloe realized that she was carrying Daniel and Nicole's child. Chloe felt that Nicole had betrayed her and that she could no longer trust her.

General Hospital reopened. Sonny set up a foundation in Morgan's name to help young people with mental illness. Nelle found Morgan's journal and shared it with Carly. Ava received a text message from a blocked number, and the sender claimed to know what Ava had done to Morgan. Lulu had an opportunity to question Daphne. Lulu's hopes of having another biological child were dashed when Daphne explained that she'd been hired to carry a frozen embryo fathered by Stavros, but the embryo hadn't been viable. Anna was certain that she'd met Valentin in the past, but he denied it. Later, Valentin looked at an old snapshot of Anna that he'd kept hidden in a safe. Valentin offered Alexis a job to help clear up the Cassadine estate and confirm that he was the legal heir. Alexis informed Valentin that the document that Nikolas had signed had not been notarized, making it invalid. Griffin decided to take a DNA test to prove he was Charlotte's father, but Valentin announced that he was Charlotte's father. Franco's jealousy caused friction in his relationship with Elizabeth. Hayden was hired as the hospital's new financial manager. Julian's driver was shot while Jason was questioning him.

Stitch and Abby decided to divorce. Cane injured himself while playing basketball with the twins. Victor revealed to Abby that he'd used Curtis to set up Jack, Phyllis, and GC Buzz. Travis learned that he'd failed Victor's test by continuing to investigate members of the Newman family. A drunken Natalie informed Billy that Victor knew who the mole was, and Billy warned Phyllis. Phyllis was too late to stop Jack from dropping off the second set of Newman documents to GC Buzz. Jack failed to retrieve the envelope, but Phyllis pulled the fire alarm and swiped the documents before Hilary saw them. Jack accidentally spilled hot coffee on Phyllis, and he tried to help by ripping off her blouse. Mariah was livid when she overheard Hilary pitching one of Mariah's ideas as her own. Chelsea caught Nick trashing the Underground on the anniversary of Christian's death. Patty phoned Nick and divulged that Christian was alive and that Sharon had been raising the boy as her own. Nick confronted Sharon, who finally admitted the truth. Sharon was forced to confess to Dylan that Sully wasn't his son. Nick threatened to take Christian, but Chelsea talked him into letting the boy stay in familiar surroundings while the adults figured things out. Chelsea grappled with whether to keep the secret that Christian was really Adam's son, but Victor convinced her that Adam had wanted Nick to raise Christian.
