What happened the week of September 23, 2024

Bill implored Brooke start their future, but Brooke postponed their wedding to address R.J.'s feelings. Bill asked Brooke to own any residual feelings for Ridge, but Brooke said she was committed to Bill. Eric and Quinn planned an impromptu wedding. Carter gave Eric the pre-nup he'd requested and a power of attorney document Ridge had requested. Eric and Quinn signed a stack of papers without reading them. Thorne and Felicia arrived in town, and Steffy and Ridge convinced the reluctant family to boycott the wedding. Standing alone at the altar, Eric realized the family wouldn't be at the wedding. Quinn tearfully walked between the empty rows of seats, and at the altar, she told Eric that she couldn't let him marry her.

Gabi shared her feelings about J.J. with Rafe. Eduardo warned Dario about working for Deimos. Eduardo told John about the role he had played in the prison break. The Kiriakis men joined forces to protect their loved ones from the prisoners at large. Steve moved home to take care of Kayla. Kate panicked and pulled a gun on Andre. Orpheus, Clyde, and Xander caused the town of Salem to go dark. The prisoners held Kayla hostage and kidnapped Joey to get revenge on Steve. Hope and Aiden spent time together. Aiden had a plan to win back Hope. Chad and Gabi bonded while trapped in the panic room. Theo had a meltdown. Chloe and Philip turned to Kate for help. Nicole held her ground with Deimos. Justin and Eve had a moment before she left town. Kate agreed to help Philip and Chloe prove to Deimos that Philip was the father of Chloe's child.

Naomi confirmed that Jeff Webber was Hayden's father. Hayden was shocked when Naomi took the fall for stealing the diamonds to spare Hayden from going to prison. Naomi encouraged Hayden to remain in Port Charles and follow her heart. Finn opened up to Hayden about his wife Reiko. Franco made arrangements for Elizabeth to recover at home. Julian was acquitted. Carly implored Sonny not to avenge Duke by killing Julian. Ava urged Paul to stop killing while he was ahead and to leave town before anyone else uncovered his secret. Paul blurted out to Tracy that he had killed Sabrina. Kiki expressed concern about Morgan's increasing volatility. Claudette claimed that she and Nathan had a daughter named Charlotte, prompting Maxie to demand a paternity test. A grief-stricken Michael lashed out at Carly. Joe took custody of Teddy and left town. Loved ones gathered for Sabrina's funeral. General Hospital closed its doors.

Victoria and Billy clashed at work. Travis turned down Jill's job offer. Travis offered to move out to give Victoria space to deal with her feelings about Billy, but she realized how much she wanted a relationship with Travis, and he agreed to stay. Kevin charmed Chloe on a "non-date," and they shared a kiss. Mariah was suspicious of the inconsistencies in Chloe's story about Bella's father. Mariah and Chelsea bonded. Jack vowed revenge against Jill for not telling him about Phyllis' affair with Billy. Phyllis tried to explain to Jack why she'd turned to Billy, but Jack demanded that she leave Jabot and give him a divorce. Michael implored Phyllis to fight for Jack. Jack told Victor that the war between them had never ended -- it had only escalated. Jack resigned from the foundation board and declared his intent to not play nice anymore. Lily expected Hilary to make a play for Jack, but Hilary only offered him a friendly ear. Neil reached out to Billy to try to keep him from heading into a downward spiral. Phyllis gave a statement to the press to accept responsibility for her mistake. Phyllis begged for Jack's forgiveness, but she fell down the stairs during their ensuing argument. Billy witnessed part of the confrontation and blamed Jack for Phyllis' fall. Paul and Dylan contemplated whether Phyllis' spill had been an accident or the result of a domestic dispute.
