News of Eric's engagement to Quinn spread, and the Forresters performed an intervention on Eric, to no avail. Quinn suggested that Wyatt perform his own marital intervention, but when Wyatt asked Steffy if their marriage could survive, Steffy claimed she couldn't concentrate on anything but getting Quinn out of Forrester. She said that, though she and Wyatt lived apart, she was still Mrs. Spencer. Upon returning home, R.J. was thrilled to see his parents in an embrace. He was not thrilled to see the "ugliest" ring on Brooke's finger or to hear that Brooke would marry Bill instead of reuniting with Ridge. R.J. asserted his displeasure about it directly to Bill and implored Brooke not to marry Bill Spencer.

Shawn decided to go to Hong Kong with Belle. Deimos had Chloe on edge after he told her why he believed she was pregnant with his child. Victor proved to Brady that he had not kidnapped Tate. Victor asked Brady and Theresa to have their wedding at the mansion. Xander was out to get Theresa for lying to the police about the rape. Nicole learned that Xander was after her as well. Orpheus took Eve hostage and stopped the wedding. Paul put himself in harm's way to protect his family. Sonny was proud of Paul. Aiden transferred Chase to a clinic in Oregon and said that he and Hope would join Chase soon. Aiden fantasized about a future with Hope. J.J. walked in on Gabi outfitting Chad for his new work wardrobe. J.J. told Gabi that he was not happy about her job with Chad. Kayla asked Steve to move back home. Clyde taunted Kate and later threatened her life. Chad saved Kate's life and learned that Clyde planned to take Thomas away from him. Clyde, Xander, and Orpheus plotted their next step against the people of Salem.

Hayden agreed to donate blood to save Elizabeth's life in exchange for Franco's promise to hand over the diamonds. Elizabeth recovered from surgery and enlisted Sabrina's help to take Hayden's stolen diamonds to the police. Elizabeth and Hayden were stunned when Franco told them about Jeff's affair with Naomi and revealed that they were sisters. Two FBI agents arrested Hayden. Finn vowed to help Hayden. Michael decided to propose to Sabrina, but Carly objected because she didn't think that Michael and Sabrina were in love. Sabrina caught Paul leaving Monica's office seconds after he had injected Monica with derisifol. Sabrina saved Monica's life. Paul strangled Sabrina to keep her from exposing his secret. Alexis fell apart on the witness stand and fainted in Julian's arms. Lulu remained determined to find her frozen embryo, but Dante and Kevin questioned if she was prepared to raise Stavros' child. Tracy and Monica agreed that it was time to close the hospital before someone else was murdered.

Dylan refused to back down from finding evidence against Victor. Victor filed a restraining order against Dylan. Nikki appealed to Dylan to back off if he truly wanted to protect her. Chloe clammed up when Kevin questioned her about Bella's father. Chloe, Sharon, and Nick expressed concern when Chelsea returned to work and refused to take time off after Adam's death. Chelsea was livid when she discovered that Chloe and Sharon had delayed the launch of her line. Victor offered to give Chelsea his stake in her company. Stitch informed Jill that she had a bad case of acid reflux. Jill continued to pretend that she'd suffered an attack, but she eventually told Billy the truth. Jill told Colin about Phyllis and Billy's affair, and Colin offered Jack information about Phyllis in exchange for a million dollars. Jill forced Colin to convince Jack that he'd been bluffing. Phyllis told Billy that she belonged with Jack, and she and Jack sought marriage counseling. Billy acted out by drinking with scantily clad women at the office. Billy confessed to Ashley that he was in love with Phyllis, and Ashley betrayed Billy's confidence by telling Jack. Jack confronted Billy, who swore that Phyllis loved Jack. Phyllis admitted her affair with Billy to Jack, who declared that their marriage was over. Phyllis inadvertently revealed the affair to Victoria. During an interview for the foundation, Jack exposed Billy and Phyllis' affair to the press.
