Ridge told Thomas that Douglas had been born out of the drunken night between Caroline and Thomas, but Douglas was Ridge's son. Thomas took off with Douglas and arranged for Caroline to meet him alone at the cabin. Caroline believed she'd convinced Thomas to leave things as they were, but Thomas seemed to still be grappling with it. Liam reluctantly agreed to try to accept Steffy and Wyatt's marriage. Quinn appealed to Steffy to help Quinn reconcile with Liam and Wyatt, but Steffy messaged Wyatt to call the police. Liam arrived in time to see Quinn in handcuffs, and she implored him not to let the police take her from him.

Aiden's sudden appearance shook Hope to her core. Aiden recalled the last six months of his life as a prisoner of the DiMeras. Hope did not believe Aiden's story and arrested him. Aiden tried to convince Hope that the man who had tried to kill her had been an impostor. Ciara asked Claire to move into the DiMera guest cottage with her. Nicole and Deimos were drawn to each other. Steve assured Kayla that he would find Joey. Claire told Steve that Joey and Jade might be in Los Angeles. Paul, Gabi, and Adriana fell ill with an unknown virus. John realized that Yo Ling was responsible for the outbreak of the virus. Kayla and Fynn worked tirelessly to find a cure. Abigail called Chad and told him that she did not want him, Thomas, or her family to visit her anymore. Ciara was there for Chad when he needed her. Andre was of no help to Hope about Aiden's return. Aiden's DNA test proved that he had told Hope the truth about his identity. Aiden went to see Andre.

Jordan and Andre made love. Carlos turned to Paul for help when Sonny threatened Carlos. Paul slid Carlos a paper clip and pen before arranging for a prison transfer for Carlos. Carlos managed to break free and stabbed Dante with the pen, but the driver lost control of the van. Jason skidded off the road to avoid a collision with the van. Jason escaped with only minor injuries, but his memories began to return as he raced to save Dante's life with special help from significant people in his life. Anna immediately hunted Carlos down when she heard about his escape, but Carlos gained the upper hand during a fight and tossed Anna into a meat locker on the piers. Carlos reached out to Julian for help. Julian went to the piers and stabbed Carlos with the dagger used to murder Alexis' mother. Carlos died at the hospital without revealing his secrets. Andre located and rescued Anna. Griffin revealed that he was a priest and gave Carlos last rites. Alexis grew increasingly certain that Julian had been responsible for the eyewitness' drug overdose and Carlos' murder. Franco made a startling confession during his visit with Heather. Elizabeth moved out of Wyndemere. Nikolas and Hayden each hatched a plan to break their stalemate.

Victoria was livid when she found Fiona at Billy's home. Victoria and Travis shared a dance and a kiss. Travis invited Victoria back to his place, but she declined. Luca's investigator filmed the couple together. Fiona suspected that Phyllis wanted Billy for herself. Fiona agreed to resume doing business with Jabot, but she warned Jack that something was going on between Billy and Phyllis. After an argument with Jack, Phyllis sought out Billy to tell him that whatever was going on between them was over, but they ended up having passionate sex. Later, Jack asked Phyllis whether she had feelings for his brother.
