Theo, Claire, and Joey helped Ciara confront Chase. Ciara broke down and told Hope that Chase had raped her. The police arrested Chase and charged him with sexual assault. Philip's past returned to haunt him. Deimos helped Philip out of a jam. Claire saw her mother and Philip kissing. Ciara shared her feelings with Theo. A remorseful Chase told Hope he was ready to pay for what he had done to Ciara. John was shocked to learn that his biological father had been alive all these years and was holding him hostage.

Anna realized that Paul had been helping Carlos. Paul agreed to persuade Carlos to return to town by offering Carlos full immunity in exchange for Carlos' testimony against Julian and keeping quiet about Paul and Anna's crimes. Carlos turned down Paul's offer. Anna told Sonny that Carlos was alive and on the run. Sonny vowed to hunt Carlos down, but Anna explained that she needed Carlos alive. Sonny told Michael that Sabrina had willingly left with Carlos. Griffin confessed that he had been following Anna, but he was called back to the hospital before he could explain why. Dante and Lulu agreed to work through their problems and get back together. Tracy was stunned when Dr. Mayes revealed that she might have brain cancer. Griffin suspected that something else was ailing Tracy. Jason paid his family's mausoleum a visit and took steps to move forward with his life. Sam questioned Baxter about Rachel, but Baxter remained tightlipped. Nikolas told Sam to drop the investigation, but she reached out to Spinelli for help.

Jack was stunned to learn that Billy had hired Natalie and that Jabot planned to launch PassKey. Summer told Victor and Victoria that Billy and Phyllis had conspired with Natalie from the beginning. Victoria called off her wedding to Billy. Victor tried to blackmail Elise into ensuring that she was the judge assigned to his case, but she surprised everyone when she went public with their past affair. Victor's bail was revoked when he threatened Jack and Phyllis. Summer was the only person to visit Victor in jail, and he gave her his proxy to vote his Newman shares. Victor landed in the hospital after another episode, but tests indicated that everything was normal. The Newman board voted to oust Victor as CEO and to replace him with Victoria. Victor asked Adam to run Newman, but Adam planned to start a new life with Chelsea in New York. Michael agreed to Phyllis' request that he defend Victor and throw the case to make sure she got justice. Max was released from social services after he admitted that Stitch had never abused him. Abby became increasingly concerned about Max's behavior when he hesitated to help her during a health scare. Ashley considered stopping Simon's treatment, but Simon convinced her to fight for her life. Abby was irritated when Max bonded with Ashley. Nick and Sage argued about his level of commitment to the adoption process. Neil suspected that Hilary had reverted to her conniving ways.
