Giving in to blackmail, Steffy passed the modeling torch to Ivy. As Ridge parented his adult children about their careers and issues, Caroline stuffed down her desire to have children with him. Brooke warned Ridge against procreating to appease Caroline, but Ridge said he wanted Caroline to be fulfilled. Caroline described to Thomas the magic touch that had sparked her relationship with Ridge. When she placed her hand over Thomas' to help him design, Thomas felt a spark of his own.

Tracy and Paul decided to work on being friends for their son's sake. The lead actress in Dillon's movie quit, so he asked Lulu to step in as Marjorie. Lulu refused, but she suggested that Maxie consider playing the part. Ava was arrested after she admitted the truth about her identity in court. Ava followed through on her threat to Franco by showing the judge the incriminating picture of Nina perched over Silas' body with the bloody murder weapon clutched in her hand. Nina was taken into custody, but she begged Nathan to find the real killer. Desperate to save Nina, Franco claimed that he had killed Silas, and the judge decided to toss Franco into lockup until the police had sorted things out. Nathan quickly zeroed in on a new suspect when he and Dante took a closer look at the evidence. In a shocking twist, Ric was arrested for Silas' murder, but Ric opted to cooperate by leading the detectives to the real killer. Madeline recalled visiting Silas on the night of his murder. Sonny paid Ava a visit in jail to let her know that Carly would raise Avery, who would never be a part of Ava's life. Carly and Sonny talked to Morgan about their concerns that Morgan might have bipolar disorder, but Morgan refused to entertain the possibility. Morgan insisted that all of his problems were behind him because Ava was out of his life and Kiki was his future. Franco told Kiki that Silas had intended to tell her the truth about Ava, including Ava's affair with Morgan.

Victor arranged for Marco to be sent back to the Peruvian prison, but only after his minions had severed one of Marco's ears to keep him from impersonating Jack again. Paul shot and killed Harding to save Dylan's life. Dylan decided not to join the police force to ensure he was there for Sharon and their baby, and Sharon accepted his marriage proposal. Sharon suffered a miscarriage, but she plotted to get pregnant again rather than tell Dylan the truth. Mariah reluctantly agreed to keep Sharon's secret. Noah and Dylan were concerned about Sharon's mood swings. The Newmans threw Sage a baby shower. Nick and Sage wed. Nikki was suspicious that Neil had been involved in Hilary's disappearance. Neil flashed back to hearing a scream on the summit. The island authorities believed that Hilary had fallen off the cliff and that Devon had been responsible. Stitch committed to opening up to Abby, and they decided to move into her home together. Abby decided to continue working for Newman after the merger ended. Adam and Chelsea bought their dream house in Paris, but they returned to Genoa City when Victor declared his intent to keep her clothing line under the Newman umbrella. Chelsea unknowingly selected Newman's sealed bid over Jabot's, and Victor declared that he owned her due to a non-compete clause. Jack offered to make Ashley co-CEO of Jabot.
