When Ridge revealed himself to Brooke, he had rose petals and a kiss for her, but she slapped him in the face for ending things between them the way that he had. Quinn convinced Steffy to tell Liam that she could conceive again and to let Liam decide about marrying Hope. On his wedding day, Steffy went to Liam with the news. Liam was happy for her but said he was committed to Hope. Hope saw Steffy and Liam talking and ran away from the wedding. She boarded the Forrester jet, where Wyatt was waiting to go to Hawaii, and she announced that she was going with him.

Will bugged Sonny to tell him about what he had overheard. Nicole lied to Eric about her and Daniel so that Eric could move on. Victor was furious to learn that Nicole was living with Daniel. Brady told Jennifer that he had bumped into J.J. in a bad part of town. Daniel agreed to keep Nicole's secret to help Eric. Will talked to Sami and told her that he did not want a surprise party. Gabi, Kate, and Sami were horrified when they learned that Sonny knew the truth about what they had done to Nick. Sami, Kate, and Gabi stopped Sonny from telling Justin their secret. E.J. and Abigail talked about Jack. J.J. tried to get Theresa off his back but his plan backfired. Adrienne set up Jennifer on a blind date. E.J. tried to trick Gabi and Sonny into telling him about the big secret. Sami had a fight with Ciari about the earring Sami had lost. Bo called Hope and told her that he was not returning home for Christmas. Daniel was shocked to meet Jennifer's date. E.J. quizzed Sami about something he had found by the river. Kate, Gabi, Sonny, and Lucas took Arianna to meet Santa. Eric had a troubling dream about Nicole. Kate was not happy to run into Jordan at Rafe's new apartment.

What happened during the week of December 16, 2013
Maxie spent time with her daughter, Georgie, before Spinelli and Ellie left town. Julian's interest was piqued when he saw that Bobbie had received a phone call from Lucas, so he asked her who Lucas was. Luke managed to give Julian a reasonable explanation for the phone call without tipping Julian off to Bobbie's son. Shawn received confirmation that Carlos had lied about being Lily's brother, so Sonny decided that it was time for Carlos to die. Morgan manipulated Molly and T.J. into tracking down Carlos. T.J. freed Carlos, believing that it was the only way to keep Shawn safe from Sonny's enemies and the police. Carlos was unable to escape before Sonny and Shawn arrived, so Carlos took T.J. hostage. Julian and Morgan arrived at the warehouse with guns blazing. Sam helped Patrick realize that his heart already knew who he wanted, so he paid Sabrina a visit. Britt and her mother talked about their decision to implant Britt with Dante and Lulu's embryos. Britt feared that Nikolas would want nothing to do with her if he found out that Ben was his sister's son. Brad decided to cover for Britt by showing Dante and Lulu documentation suggesting that Ellie had mistakenly authorized the embryos to be destroyed. Silas received an unsettling phone call from a New York City detective.

Nick and Jack worried about Billy's growing closeness to Kelly. Billy tried to figure out who had set up the foundation in Delia's name, but Kelly refused to tell him. Victoria and Stitch bonded when he treated Johnny's allergic reaction. Chelsea and Adam professed their love. Nick and Jack worked together to throw a birthday party for Summer, who was overwhelmed by the attention. Summer swallowed an "energy pill" that Esmerelda had given her. Nick kissed Sharon, but they agreed that they were just friends. Upon Faith's insistence, Nick and Sharon decided to spend Christmas together. Noah caught Kyle searching through Victor's desk. Victor assigned both Kyle and Noah to research Bonaventure Industries. Dylan regretted being related to Ian Ward. Victor revised Nikki's will to exclude Dylan, but Nikki presented Dylan with the addendum that named him as an heir. Michael and Fen provided Paul with conflicting stories about how Michael had obtained Fen's sobriety chip. Paul linked Fen's suit to Carmine's murder, and he obtained a warrant for Fen's arrest. Fen told Summer about his plans to leave town. Abby and Tyler decided to take another trip to Los Angeles. Jill found proof that Esther had purchased Katherine's music box online. Neil asked for Avery's help with his plans to propose to Leslie. Devon was arrested for trashing a Las Vegas hotel room, and Hilary declared her belief in his innocence.
