Wyatt implored Hope not to get married, and Liam learned that he had one more document for Steffy to sign before the annulment went through. To get Wyatt some time with Hope, Quinn proposed that Wyatt and Hope go to Mexico to talk the owner of the second Hope Diamond into letting Forrester display it at their fashion show. Wyatt vowed to give Hope the magical diamond and make her his wife someday. Katie returned home and saw that Bill and Brooke were still carrying on together. Katie told Brooke that they could never repair their relationship as long as Brooke was with Bill. Brooke was overridden with guilt, but to prove that he only wanted Brooke, Bill proposed to her.

What happened during the week of September 23, 2013

Jennifer fired Theresa from her job at the hospital. Kristen and Victor had words. Theresa asked Caroline and J.J. for their help so she could stay in Salem. Eric agreed to hypnosis but could not remember the woman in his dream. Jennifer was heartbroken that she and J.J. were still at odds. Victor talked to Brady about his unusual take on marriage. Kristen had an uneasy feeling about her and Brady. Eric struggled to remember the woman in his dream. J.J. and his friends partied at Daniel's apartment while Daniel was out of town, visiting Chloe. Daniel noticed that things were not right at his apartment. Daniel tried to make things right with J.J., but only increased the tension. Jennifer blamed Daniel for making things worse between her and J.J. Stefano issued his first set of demands to E.J. Theresa joined forces with Anne to get revenge on Jennifer. E.J. used Chad's secret about his bogus health condition to force Chad to move back into the mansion. Cameron tried to accept Abigail and Chad as a couple. Chad gave Abigail a copy of Jack's book. Will went ballistic when he caught Gabi and Nick about to make love, and they had a terrible fight. Will blasted Sonny for not telling him about Nick and Gabi. Rafe realized that he had not known Jordan as well as he had thought. During Brady and Kristen's Pre-Cana meeting, Eric had a flashback of the woman in his dream. Nicole received an enticing job offer.

Ava overheard Silas confess to Sam that he wasn't interested in Ava because he wanted Sam. Kiki told Morgan that their marriage was over because he had pushed her to marry him, knowing that she was not related to Michael. Morgan felt betrayed by his father and accused Sonny of choosing Michael over Morgan. Morgan sought solace in Ava's arms because he believed that she was the only person that he could trust. Carly was horrified when she realized that Morgan had spent the night in Ava's bed. Kiki washed her hands of Ava after she learned about Ava and Morgan's tryst. Carly persuaded Sonny that he should set an example for his children and take his medication. Diane revealed that the state of New York had frozen Franco's assets because the families of Franco's victims had filed a civil suit against him. Franco decided to paint a few pieces to replenish his coffers. Lulu and Dante asked Maxie and Spinelli to be Connie's godparents. Brad made his way to the church when he heard about Connie's christening. Carlos questioned Patrick's commitment to Sabrina because Patrick still wore a wedding band. Luke turned up on Cassadine Island, where he had an encounter with Helena. Dr. Obrecht slipped into Wyndemere.

Nikki and Paul learned that her son had drowned at the age of seven. Paul retrieved the boy's adoption file and was shocked by its contents. Nikki continued to withhold the truth about her first-born from Victor. Sharon was devastated when Nick rebuffed her attempts to spend more time with him. Avery and Sharon argued. Dylan refused Avery's help after he realized that he'd caused problems in her relationship with Nick. Stitch accepted a job at Memorial Hospital and found a therapist for Dylan. Adam forced Chelsea and Connor to move in with him. Chelsea informed Adam that she had told him that he was Connor's father when Adam had been in a coma, but Adam had awakened and asked for Sharon. The eye specialist determined that Connor's condition had been caused by a traumatic birth, not a genetic disorder. Tyler denied his growing feelings for Abby. Victor asked Noah to work with Victor and Victoria. Summer contemplated moving to Los Angeles. Jack and Adam discovered that Victor had sabotaged Newman Enterprises, and Victor announced that Katherine had left him Chancellor Industries. Kevin wondered how to compete when Billy bought Delia a puppy. Carmine escaped from police custody and prepared to attend a banquet in Lauren's honor. Neil told Hilary about the night her mother had died, and Hilary went to the press with the allegation that Neil had been responsible for Rose's death.
