Anna fought with David about the future of their child and his role as a parent. Anna refused to let David get away with using Maria as a guinea pig. Maria was confused about how to handle Sam and Maddie, especially after Edmund continued to pressure her to try to remember the life that they had once shared together. Stuart, Marian, and Mia teamed up to try to get Liza and Adam to see how much they were hurting Colby. Greenlee and Kendall joined forces to combat Erica. Frank and Simone continued to spend time together. Jake and Mia consummated their relationship.

Carter set up a romantic evening for Maya. As they ran lines that he'd written for their show, Carter expressed his true feelings for Maya and asked her to marry him. Brooke mediated Bill and Wyatt's dispute, and the men put their differences behind them. Brooke and Bill wanted to resolve things with Katie, but Katie decided to leave indefinitely with Will on a trip to New York. Liam was livid that Hope had hired Wyatt's company for the jewelry line, and as Wyatt made clear his intentions to win Hope, Liam asked Steffy to reconsider an annulment.

What happened during the week of September 9, 2013
Sami's trial got off to a bad start. Kate, Rafe, Will, Sonny, and Nick's testimony seemed to do Sami more harm than good. Nicole was upset that Brady had asked Eric to marry him and Kristen. Kristen thought about getting rid of the flash drive, but then changed her mind. Nicole bumped into Kristen holding the flash drive and asked her what she was hiding. Chad was upset when he heard Cameron tell Abigail not to get too serious with anyone. Cameron urged Chad to tell his loved ones about his prognosis. Father Matt asked Nicole to help Eric forget about the night that he had gotten sick so that he could move on. Kristen talked to Daniel about having a child with Brady. Maggie asked Nick if he still had feelings for Gabi. Marlena's plan to tap into Kristen's phone did not go as planned. Marlena told Nicole that she was not sure if she could trust her. Marlena suggested that Eric try hypnosis to get his memories back about the night that he had gotten sick. Later, Daniel suggested that Eric might remember what had happened to him if he went back to the hotel. J.J. and Jennifer had a terrible fight, and then he decided to move out of the house. J.J. told Rory that he had plans to get back at Daniel for the problems he had caused J.J. and his mother. Abigail learned that Theresa had been buying drugs from J.J.

What happened during the week of September 9, 2013
Spinelli told Ellie that he and Maxie had decided not to claim their baby so that Dante and Lulu could raise her. Ellie was encouraged when Spinelli admitted that he still loved her, but he needed time to deal with everything that had happened. Brad overheard Maxie and Spinelli talk about their little girl. Dante and Lulu decided to name their daughter Connie. Sonny continued a downward spiral because he secretly stopped taking his medication. The judge ruled in Franco's favor because she determined that his brain tumor had driven him to commit the crimes that he had been accused of. Franco tossed Ava out of Monica's home. Tracy was delighted when Monica returned the favor by evicting Franco. Monica was fired as the hospital's chief of staff because of A.J.'s arrest, so Tracy vowed to fight to get Monica's job back. Michael was outraged when A.J. revealed that Diane planned to establish reasonable doubt about A.J.'s guilt by suggesting that Sonny had killed Connie and then had framed A.J. Jason's loved ones remembered him on his birthday. Britt gave birth to a baby boy, but several people noticed that the baby looked nothing like Brad. Taylor returned to Port Charles after a visit with her parents, but she was disappointed to learn that Molly had given T.J. another chance. Anna and Duke bumped into Julian in the hospital.

Todd admitted his feelings for Blair then prepared to leave the island once and for all. Blair finally confessed to Sam that she still loved Todd. Having no remaining evidence against Al, Bo let him serve community service. Cristian and Natalie declared their love for each other, but a furious Jen spied on them. Before Cristian could tell Jen of his feelings for Natalie, Jen told him she was pregnant with his baby. Keri's mother, Liz, suspected she was pregnant, but aware of Liz's heart condition, Keri offered to be her surrogate. Seth planned to visit Rex's Aunt Corrine with questions about Rex's past, and Roxy was frantic upon learning Seth's plan. Rex and Roxy discussed the fact that Roxy wasn't really Jessica's biological mother.

Lily and Cane staged a fight for Hilary's benefit. Hilary comforted Cane with a kiss, and Mason posted a photo of the buss online. Hilary ordered Mason to get closer to Devon. Lily realized that Hilary was really Anne Turner. Katherine's will was read, and Devon inherited the bulk of her fortune. Jill was perplexed by the mystery surrounding the music box Katherine had left her. Nikki confided to Paul that she had given up a baby years before, and she instructed him to proceed with trying to find her adult child. Abby and Tyler both balked at making their relationship exclusive. Victor told Victoria that he planned to oust Adam from Newman Enterprises, and he asked her to return to the company. Adam confronted Chelsea about Connor being his son, and she ultimately admitted it was true. Adam threatened to sue for custody, but Avery refused to help him. Dylan was devastated to learn that he wasn't Connor's biological father, and he left Chelsea. Faith initially refused to attend Nick and Avery's wedding, but Sharon talked her into making an appearance. Jack talked Summer into going to the wedding for Avery's sake. Nick and his family gathered in the park for the ceremony, but Avery was late because she was consoling a despondent Dylan. Nick called off the wedding. As Sharon was hugging Nick, Avery arrived and hoped that it wasn't too late. Noah realized that Sharon had gone off her medication.

Hal interceded and prevented Isaac and Marshall from coming to blows. Isaac broke up with Bonnie, and Jessica insisted that Marshall tell Isaac the truth about Bonnie's visit. Marshall kissed Jessica. Simon agreed to investigate Marshall for Bonnie and Paul, and enlisted Henry's assistance. Marshall hired Brandy to spy on Paul and Bonnie. Craig convinced Lisa that Carly had abandoned her. Rosanna told Craig that he could not run BRO if that meant hiring Carly. Unable to convince Lisa that Craig had lied, Carly accepted Craig's offer. Alison told Emily the truth about Rosanna. Emily confronted Rosanna and convinced her to withdraw Cabot's offer to fund boarding school for Alison. Craig quietly fumed after Lucy was mildly injured in a motorcycle accident with Aaron. Holden asked Julie and Caleb to take Aaron back to Seattle. Molly continued to wrestle with her conscience about Mike's job, and they made love.

Phillip and Olivia's pretend romantic tryst to make Alan jealous landed Alan in the hospital but forced Phillip and Olivia to re-think their real feelings for each other. Gus manipulated Lizzie into alerting another powerful Spaulding about Alan's condition, which could ultimately put the company stock in jeopardy. Gus gave Phillip food for thought regarding his bribe to Eden, while Eden came through for Gus and gave him the support he needed to help him win back custody of Zack for Harley. Meanwhile, Harley pretended to be Eden so she could use the information against her to make her admit that she had lied at the custody hearing, but Frank acted as Harley's "knight in shining armor" before she could get any solid proof. Josh and Reva bought back Cassie's engagement ring in the hopes she might accept it from them in the future. Cassie got the squeeze from the "Santos clan" to pay back her debt, while Tammy awaited the results of her shoplifting decision. Reva called a family conference to help her weigh her legal options: accept a plea bargain for less jail time, or take a chance that the jury would understand her actions and find her not guilty -- neither of which was particularly favorable to Reva.

Hecuba and Cracked Connie cut an unholy deal. To Tabitha's dismay, Cracked Connie released a magical green mist to wreck havoc on the party guests. Beth tried to convince Antonio that he and Sheridan should elope. Mrs. Wallace continued to embarrass Beth at the party. Sensing evil, Charity left the hospital and arrived at the party in time to get an eye-full from Miguel and Kay. Kay attempted to tell Charity she slept with Miguel. Sam and Ivy, along with David and Grace, experienced a "what might have been" vision. Sam and Ivy shared a passion-filled kiss, as did David and Grace. David admitted to Grace that he loved her. Sam accused Grace of wanting to be with David.
