Quick Catch-Up for the Week of April 29, 2013

David was released from prison after serving five years for shooting JR during Adam and Brooke's engagement party. David returned to Pine Valley with vengeance on his mind because Marissa had been killed during David's attempt to get the gun away from JR. David also wanted answers about Cara's miscarriage. Cara feared that David would learn the truth about what she had done. David turned murderous when he realized that JR was emerging from a five-year coma. Adam and Brooke agreed to put the tragic past behind them and get married. Pete returned to Pine Valley to save Cortlandt Electronics from financial ruin. Pete met a young woman named Celia, who had a mystery guardian with stringent rules. Jesse hoped that a surprise visit from Cassandra would cheer Angie up, but things took a terrifying turn when someone from the Russian mob kidnapped Cassandra. Jesse enlisted Zach's help to track down Cassandra before Angie learned of her daughter's disappearance. Miranda's date with a boy that she liked went horribly wrong when Hunter invited Miranda to be part of a threesome with another girl.

Liam and Steffy returned from their honeymoon, and Steffy tried to make peace with Hope, who wasn't ready to forgive Steffy for stealing Liam. Caroline ambushed the Forrester male executives with bedroom wear modeling gigs at her cancer fundraiser. The men agreed to do it and set the runway on fire with their hot bodies. Eric walked in on Taylor accusing Brooke of sleeping with Bill. Eric sided with Brooke and insisted that Taylor stop the accusations. Donna confronted Brooke about Bill, and Brooke confessed her indiscretion with him. As Katie promised that Bill would never lose his family, Brooke was devastated to learn from her doctor that her condition wasn't menopause -- it was pregnancy.

Cameron and Abigail enjoyed a special night out on the town. Vargas gave Nick $30,000 and told him to invest the money and yield Vargas a big profit. Stefano told Sami, Will, and E.J. that he would make the evidence at the police station disappear. Roman blasted John for the way he treated Marlena. Victor forced John to tell him about his plan to take down Kristen. John told Victor that his plan might end his marriage to Marlena and alienate Brady, but it was the only way to get Kristen out of their lives. Kristen assured Stefano that she was determined to follow through with her plan. Ciara mixed up the envelopes in her backpack and showed Kristen and Brady the wrong photograph. Rafe questioned Nick about why he did not want Will to be part of his child's life. Sami and Sonny searched Nick and Gabi's room and found the evidence that they needed to clear Will. In a rush to leave Nick and Gabi's room, Sami grabbed the envelope with the $30,000 in it that she thought belonged to Nick. Nick threatened Sami to return the $30,000 that he knew she had stolen from his room. Gabi demanded answers from Nick about his strange behavior or else she planed to leave him. Vargas threatened to reveal Nicole's feelings for Eric to keep her in line. Kate gave Sami a gun as an engagement gift. Kate broke up with Rafe to protect him from Stefano. E.J. asked Justin for help in destroying Stefano. Sami told E.J. that Stefano planned to double-cross them.

A.J. turned self-destructive because of his breakup with Elizabeth, so he ended up in bed with Carly. Nikolas confessed that he had never stopped loving Elizabeth. Nikolas and Elizabeth kissed, but Elizabeth ended the kiss because she had feelings for A.J. and she didn't want to hurt Lucky by rekindling a romance with Nikolas. Elizabeth apologized to A.J. and asked for a second chance. A.J. invited Elizabeth to join him on a short trip to New York City. Ellie accessed Maxie's medical records and discovered that Maxie had miscarried Dante and Lulu's baby. Maxie was forced to admit that she was pregnant with Spinelli's baby. Dante was furious when he learned that Lulu had been staying at Milo's apartment. Lulu kissed Milo. Milo reminded Lulu that she was a married woman, but Lulu argued that she didn't remember her past. Lulu had a flash of memory from the night that she had met Dante. Johnny told Connie that a Pentonville gambling organization had targeted rich kids at the private school that Morgan attended. Connie warned Sonny that Morgan had amassed a gambling debt. Sonny and Shawn left town to track down Morgan. Britt's plan to offer to have an abortion had the desired effect when Patrick promised to help her raise the baby. Felix shared his suspicions that Britt had manipulated Patrick by using the baby, so Sabrina confronted Britt.

Victor Jr. returned to Llanview on the same evening that his twin brother, Todd, arrived in town. Dani overdosed during the opening of Blair's nightclub, Shelter. Everyone was stunned when Victor Jr. explained that Alison Perkins had kidnapped him, but he was reluctant to share any details about how he had managed to escape. T�a questioned Victor about a strange tattoo on his wrist, but he refused to discuss it. T�a told Victor about the circumstances of their son's death shortly after birth. Someone monitored T�a's home with hidden cameras. Clint asked Bo to be the best man at Clint and Viki's wedding, even though Viki hadn't set a date. The feud between Dorian and Viki reignited when Viki printed a story in the Banner about a political scandal involving Dorian. Todd tried to reconnect with his family, but everyone, including Blair, pushed him away. In a desperate attempt to win Rama back, Vimal agreed to have an open marriage, provided that Vimal and Rama returned home to each other every night. Matthew questioned why Destiny was out at a nightclub instead of at home with their son, but Destiny pointed out that Matthew didn't have room to criticize her.

Noah caught Summer sneaking into the Underground. Nick was furious to learn that Summer had moved in with Jack and Phyllis. Kyle noticed Summer during her photo session with Mason. Jack worried about Phyllis' preoccupation with Nick and Avery's relationship. Avery returned Nick's engagement ring. Dylan and Chelsea grew closer, but she felt guilty about her lies. Dylan invited Avery to join him at his family's cottage, but she opted to try to win Nick back with a love letter. Chloe and Kevin tried to spice up their marriage. Someone ransacked Neil's apartment, and the police questioned Chloe and Kevin. Neil was alarmed when he discovered that a flash drive with sensitive Jabot information was missing. Leslie read the letters Rose had written to Gus, but Gus denied that he'd had an affair. Tyler convinced Leslie to give Gus another chance. Katherine's tumor was benign, and she began her recovery at home. Friends and family helped to celebrate Katherine and Murphy's anniversary. Sharon and Adam had sex at Newman Enterprises. Victoria and Adam clashed at the office, and she and Billy argued about her job. Victoria received a mysterious message from J.T., who wanted Reed to live with her. Billy struggled with his gambling addiction. Lauren abruptly returned home from her vacation with Carmine. Fen was arrested, but Paul got the charges dropped. Paul warned Carmine to stay away from Lauren. Michael found the playing cards that Carmine had given Lauren, and he suspected that she was having an affair.
