What happened during the week of April 8, 2013

Maya turned down Mark's offer of five thousand dollars for two barely scripted scenes with Herc, and Caroline marched into the studio to get a refund. The muscular Herc made Caroline forget about the money, and Mark secretly filmed her sizing up Herc. Hope was ready to go in a new direction with her clothing line, so Rick asked Maya to be a spokesmodel. Hope and Liam babysat Will, and Liam supported Hope when she learned of Katie's heart failure. Eric and Taylor decided to throw Liam and Steffy a wedding, and as Liam and Steffy gleefully planned the ceremony, Taylor advised Hope to move on with her life. Donna and Taylor each suspected that Bill and Brooke were somehow the reason for Katie's heart failure, and the guilty Brooke urged Bill to keep their indiscretions under wraps for the sake of Katie and their businesses.

What happened during the week of April 8, 2013

Chloe's scheme began to fall apart after Nancy returned to Salem with Parker. With Rafe and Nicole's help, Daniel learned the extent of Chloe's deception and realized that she had used Parker to force Jennifer to break up with him. An enraged Daniel confronted Chloe about her lies and deception, and he told her that she would never take Parker away from him. Frustrated that she could no longer cover up her lies, Chloe threatened Daniel that he had no legal rights to Parker. Daniel appealed to Chloe's motherly instincts and asked her to reconsider her actions and to do what was best for Parker. Chloe finally realized that Parker needed both of his parents and agreed to allow Daniel to be part of his son's life. Jennifer went to see her mom and confided the real reason that she had broken up with Daniel. Later, Jennifer told her mom that it would be too painful to continue to live in Salem and that she had decided to move to London to be with J.J. Sy continued to annoy Kristen. Rafe was upset with Kate for pressuring Gabi to sign a legal document that would protect Will's rights to his child. Kate also neglected to tell Gabi all the other details contained in the document. E.J., Sami, Will, and Sonny met to plan Nick's downfall. Nick was distressed after he and Gabi bumped into Nicole and Vargas at the Brady Pub. Gabi and Nicole were both surprised when Vargas revealed that he and Nick had known each other in prison. Chad and Abigail kept Anne at bay to save Cameron's job at the hospital.

Britt made a shocking announcement during Patrick's speech at the Nurses Ball. Britt claimed that she was pregnant with Patrick's child, but Patrick questioned the baby's paternity. Sabrina feared that Britt's news would affect Sabrina's newfound relationship with Patrick, but Patrick made it clear that he had no intention of getting back together with Britt, even if the baby was his. A.J. and Elizabeth shared their first kiss. Monica advised A.J. to be honest with Elizabeth about his feelings sooner rather than later because Elizabeth hadn't left Nikolas' side since Nikolas had been admitted to the hospital. A.J. insisted that he wasn't worried about Elizabeth's friendship with Nikolas, but Monica reminded her son that Nikolas and Elizabeth shared a lot of history. A.J. wasn't pleased when he witnessed a close moment between Nikolas and Elizabeth. Nikolas revealed that his father, Stavros, was alive and had become fixated on Lulu. Dante found Lulu in a cryogenic chamber, but Lulu was unresponsive. Laura was devastated when she realized that Lulu didn't have a pulse. In a fit of rage, Laura smashed the panel that controlled the temperature in the cryo chamber that Luke had locked Stavros in. Starr broke up with Michael over the phone and informed him that she would not be returning to Port Charles. Carly was furious when she found Michael naked in bed with Brenda. Carly accused Brenda of seducing Michael out of spite because Carly had given Jax a reason to break off his engagement to Brenda.

Chelsea discovered that Dylan had returned to town. Victoria told Nikki that she and Billy were trying to have a baby, but she asked that Nikki not tell Victor. Victoria and Billy celebrated Johnny's first birthday. Chloe and Kevin contemplated continuing to steal from the rich. Kyle told Summer that he was interested in someone else, and Abby urged him to make his fake girlfriend real. Summer adopted a more sophisticated look to get Kyle's attention. Nick warned Kyle to stay away from Summer. After much thought and a talk with Dylan, Avery accepted Nick's proposal. Avery became uncomfortable when Nick mentioned his desire to have more children. Avery asked Dylan if he still thought about their baby. Adam and Victor decided to work together at Newman Enterprises, and Victor agreed to sell Adam the penthouse. Jill accused Adriana of stealing again, and Adriana quit her job. Adriana suddenly disappeared, and Noah questioned whether she had ever had feelings for him. Katherine learned that she had a tumor pressing on her brain. Tyler reacted badly to Gus's release from prison, and Leslie invited Gus to live with her. Tyler got drunk and kissed Lily. Michael and Lauren remained distant, and Paul became suspicious of Lauren's friendship with Carmine. Carmine continued to pursue Lauren. Marcus was stunned when he was arrested for Belinda's murder. Marcus was released on bail, but he was arrested again when his henchman turned on him. Victor warned Jack that he intended to make Jack pay for stealing his company.
