What happened during the week of April 1, 2013

Caroline was miffed when she spotted Maya and Rick out to lunch together, and Caroline bribed a porn producer to give Maya a starring role in one of his movies. Maya was excited about a new acting opportunity but had no idea what type of movies the producer needed her for. After the car accident, Brooke worried that the police and Katie would find out that Bill had been driving drunk. Brooke called Katie to say that Bill was spending the night at Brooke's house. Katie flipped out, and the next morning, she stormed over to Brooke's house and demanded a divorce from Bill. Katie walked out on Bill again, and he and Brooke gave in to their attraction to each other. As they lay in bed, amazed by their new feelings for each other, Dr. Meade called Brooke to say that Katie was in the hospital.

What happened during the week of April 1, 2013

Chloe's scheme forced Jennifer to break things off with Daniel, who was unaware that Chloe had threatened to take Parker away from him if Jennifer did not comply with Chloe's demands. Daniel suspected that Chloe had played a part in Jennifer's decision, but she denied that she'd had anything to do with the breakup. Chloe, still not convinced that Daniel believed Jennifer, pressured Jennifer to return the necklace he had given her as a gift. Jennifer humiliated Daniel in front of the hospital staff and told him that they were through. Maggie blasted Jennifer for hurting Daniel in such a cruel and public way. A devastated Daniel went back to his apartment and turned to Chloe for comfort, but before things went too far, he told her to leave. Hope and Kristen both visited Jennifer and tried to figure out the real reason behind her sudden change of heart. Sy approached Kristen again, but with E.J.'s help, she turned the tables on him before he showed the photos of his meeting with her to Marlena. Vargas was surprised to learn that Nick was free and living in Salem. Vargas pressured Nick to help him with a new scheme. Kate warned Nick to tell her the truth about why he had forced Will to give up his parental rights or suffer the consequences. Will learned about Kate and Rafe's affair. Abigail and Chad followed Cameron and learned that he was a male stripper. Cameron told them that he needed the money to pay off student loans and help his mother. Nicole was relieved to learn that Eric's transfer papers turned out to be a clerical error.

What happened during the week of April 1, 2013

The hospital honored their first chief of staff, Dr. Steve Hardy, on what would have been Steve's 50th anniversary at the hospital. The 2013 Nurses Ball kicked off with red carpet appearances and amazing song and dance numbers by several familiar faces. Patrick was surprised when Noah dropped in for a visit to attend the Nurses Ball. Patrick was speechless when he saw Sabrina's stunning transformation compliments of a makeover by Felix. Sabrina was overjoyed when Patrick admitted that he had feelings for her and then kissed her. Jax and Brenda announced that they were engaged. Carly was certain that Brenda had only agreed to marry Jax to get a reaction out of Sonny. Carly's suspicions were confirmed when she eavesdropped on a revealing conversation between Brenda and Sonny. Jax broke off his engagement to Brenda when Carly told Jax about Brenda's clandestine visit with Sonny. Brenda and Carly traded heated words at the Nurses Ball that ended with a food fight and security escorting Brenda out of the ballroom. Monica and Tracy were shocked when the ghosts of Rick Webber, Alan, and Emily paid them a visit to implore the ladies to make peace. Elizabeth told A.J. about her affair with Nikolas. Luke, Laura, and Dante confronted Helena on the Haunted Star. Luke discovered that Helena had abducted Ethan and held him captive on the ship. Helena threatened to kill Lulu if Laura didn't shoot Luke. Helena was startled when Laura tossed the gun to Luke, who promptly killed Helena's guards. Helena's eyes rounded in disbelief when Luke shot her point-blank in the chest. Luke confirmed that Helena was dead. Helena's reinforcements arrived before Luke and Laura could escape from the ship. Frisco proposed marriage to Felicia.

Chelsea worried that Victoria had overheard her admission to an unconscious Adam that Chelsea was pregnant with his baby. Chelsea turned Adam's medical decisions over to Sharon. Chelsea experienced abdominal pains, but she and the baby were fine. Adam and Chelsea talked about second chances, but Victor interrupted them. Victor acknowledged Adam as his son, and the men agreed to end their war. Cane and Tyler fought over Lily. A doctor ran a battery of tests on Katherine, who remained convinced that she had Alzheimer's. Jill suspected that Adriana had stolen Katherine's charitable donation, while Kevin sold the goods. Avery bailed out Dylan, who had to remain in Genoa City until his hearing. Nick offered Dylan a job so Dylan could repay Avery and then leave town. Dylan contemplated staying in Genoa City after his hearing. Nick proposed to Avery. The judge denied Gus's appeal. Victor and Jack joined forces to set up Marcus. Paul and Alex obtained DNA proof that Marcus had killed Belinda. Marcus vowed to take down Jack and Victor. Leslie and Tyler argued about how to support Gus once he was released from prison. Phyllis moved Summer to the fashion division at Jabot to put distance between Summer and Kyle. Summer showed up naked in Kyle's bed. Noah decided to get an apartment of his own. Lauren spent one last night making love to Carmine, but he continued to pursue her. Lauren and Michael tried to put their marriage back together.
