What happened during the week of February 18, 2013
Brooke called Hope over to Liam's house, where Brooke had planned a surprise elopement for her daughter and Liam. Taylor accompanied Steffy to a sonogram appointment, and afterward, Steffy learned about the elopement from Madison. Steffy and her mother raced to the cliff house and interrupted the ceremony to reveal Steffy's pregnancy. Steffy claimed that they'd find a way to raise the baby if Liam chose to marry Hope, and Hope implored him to consider that he didn't have to be married to Steffy to raise the baby. Eric unwittingly ruined an afternoon date for Rick and Caroline by signing Rick up for community service at Dayzee's. Caroline left Rick to do the community service alone, and while busing tables at the café, Rick became enamored by Maya's singing.

What happened during the week of February 18, 2013
Chloe purposely provoked Victor so that he would throw her out of the mansion. Chloe couldn't wait to tell Jennifer that she and Parker had moved in with Daniel. Jennifer and Daniel argued about Chloe's mission to break them up. Jennifer told Daniel that he had to cut all ties with Chloe or else their relationship would never work out. Nick had memories of a traumatic event from his time in prison. Nicole couldn't deal with her feelings for Eric and decided to leave town. Nicole walked in on a junkie who held Eric at gunpoint. Eric was injured in an attempt to save Nicole from the robber. While Nicole believed Eric was unconscious, she told him that she loved him. Marlena's run-in with Kristen prompted Kristen to say yes to Brady's invitation to move in with him. Later, Kristen told Brady that the only way that they could live together was if he moved into the DiMera mansion with her. Brady told Kristen that he could not accept her ultimatum and walked out on her. Brady's actions forced Kristen to move forward with her plan for revenge. Sami and Gabi argued about why she had not scheduled the paternity test. Gabi soon developed stomach pains, and Will and Rafe rushed her to the hospital. Sami's attempt to apologize for her actions seemed to cause more problems for everyone. Gabi and the baby were out of danger, but the doctors warned the family that Gabi had to avoid stress. Nick was furious with Sami and handed her a stern warning. Sonny and Will bonded during the baby crisis. Sonny read Will's heartfelt letter. Cameron learned that Abigail was still a virgin.

Elizabeth offered A.J. some advice when they spent Valentine's Day together. A.J. extended an olive branch to Tracy, but Tracy rejected A.J.'s offer to work together to save ELQ. Tracy was delighted when A.J. had a panic attack because it gave her leverage to oust A.J. from ELQ. Luke was stunned when Laura returned to Port Charles and announced that she was engaged to marry Scott Baldwin. Lulu received an unusual gift on Valentine's Day from a mystery person. Olivia had a disturbing vision about Steve bleeding to death from a stab wound. Kate emerged after Sonny and Connie made love. Kate couldn't believe that Sonny had slept with the woman who had stolen Kate's life. Sonny confessed to Michael that he had feelings for Connie, but he was in love with Kate. Kate was desperate to see Trey, so Sonny was forced to break the news that Trey was dead. Devastated, Kate asked Sonny and Olivia how Trey had died. Sam and Danny disappeared after an encounter with Caleb on the pier. Lucy persuaded Molly to help Rafe escape from jail. Lucy created a distraction, while Molly unlocked John and Rafe's jail cells. Lucy managed to slip out of the squad room during the commotion. John, Rafe, and Lucy made their way to the Port Charles University to search the professor's office for clues to Caleb. John found information that revealed the truth about who Caleb was and where he might be hiding out. Britt wrote a letter of complaint about Sabrina and gave it to Monica.

Avery and Dylan kissed, but she chose Nick. Nick and Avery declared their love. Adam and Sharon stopped short of making love. Chelsea decided not to tell Adam about her pregnancy after she found Adam and Sharon together, and she gave back her wedding ring. Chelsea devised a con to ensure that Adam never learned that he had fathered her baby. Dylan and Sharon's cars collided during the snowstorm. Sharon later hired Dylan to fix her roof. Dylan had a nightmare about his army buddy, Sullivan. Adam fired Mason. Adriana gave Katherine a ride home during the storm, and Katherine later hired Adriana, to Jill and Kevin's chagrin. Kevin and Chloe planned to temporarily move into the Chancellor mansion. Alex flirted with Abby. Carmine suggested that he and Lauren get a room, but she declined. Lauren and Fen remained at odds with Michael, and Lauren moved out. Jamie prepared to join Ronan in Washington, DC, and he made amends with the Baldwins and Summer. Kyle and Summer developed a friendship. Cane was hurt that Lily had slept with Daniel during the Ashbys' estrangement, but Cane and Lily made up and celebrated their anniversary. Lily told Tyler to back off. Marcus pressured Leslie to speak to the judge to ensure her father remained in prison. Jack told Victor that Nikki had MS, and Nikki blasted Jack for breaking her confidence. Nikki informed her children of her diagnosis. Billy asked Victoria to marry him again. Victor refused to allow Nikki to delay their wedding. Jack pursued a hesitant Phyllis.

Bianca remembered killing Michael. On her birthday, Greenlee imagined visits from Mary, Jack, Mia, Simone, and Ryan. Maria asked Anita to discourage Edmund from the surgery. The judge granted a mistrial. Bianca confessed to Michael's murder. An angry Maria barred Brooke from the hospital. A rockslide made Greenlee cry out for Ryan. Ryan asked Kendall if she'd had anything to do with Greenlee's disappearance. Jack was concerned about Erica. Greenlee continued to hallucinate. Ryan went to say goodbye to Leo before leaving town. Babe asked Paul for the paternity test results. Kendall followed Ryan to the waterfall, and Greenlee heard their voices. Ryan found and rescued Greenlee. Kendall enjoyed David's company. Tad and Simone found the annulment papers Krystal had hidden. Ryan took care of Greenlee. Everyone gathered in Joe's office for the results of Babe's paternity test.

Henry's attempt to get Mike and Katie back together failed. Paul and Carly struck a deal. Lily made a scene during Barbara's interview, prompting Holden to confront Lily about her obsession with Rose's death. Craig found out what Clark had done to Lucy and enlisted Aaron's help in setting a trap. Alison's life was in danger after she helped Aaron catch Clark. Lucy found a true friend in Paul. Craig became suspicious of Paul and Carly's business relationship.

Cassie forced Olivia to come clean to Phillip about Emma, but not before she protected her interests. After the Springfield five confronted Carrie at the fairgrounds, the evening turned tragic when unexpectedly the girls arrived -- at Carrie's request and unknowingly drugged -- and Marah shot and killed Carrie to protect Josh. Josh protected Marah and confessed to killing Carrie in self-defense, but Jeffrey suspected that there was more to the story after his disturbing conversation with Marah. Ed, Buzz, Billy, Alan, Michele, and Marina continued to cover for each other, unaware of all the events of the evening and how it would affect each of their lives in the future. Reva's visions of Josh and Marah in peril continued, and she demanded Josh tell her what had really happened at the fairgrounds. Gus suspected Alan knew more about the shooting than he admitted.

Todd was found guilty of rape and sentenced to ten years in prison. Jen was outraged upon witnessing Lindsay and Rex in a passionate kiss and concluded that they'd been sleeping together. Jessica passed out when the killer drugged her drink, and she awoke to find herself locked in a cabin. After receiving a phone call from a panicked Jessica, Antonio was able to find the location of the cabin. Later, the killer called John and hinted that Natalie would be his next victim. Kevin took Blair to the hospital after another dizzy spell, and she was diagnosed with a brain tumor.

Rebecca tricked Theresa into believing she was abusing Little Ethan while Gwen got Ethan excited about adoption. The entire Lopez-Fitzgerald family found themselves unemployed and homeless thanks to Rebecca. Antonio and Sheridan refocused on their marriage. Alistair sent Sheridan's doctor over to make sure his daughter's old feelings for Luis hadn't resurfaced.
