What happened during the week of February 4, 2013
Steffy arrived home, but Liam asked her to move out of the cliff house to give him time to think. Steffy retreated to her loft, where her mother implored her to tell Liam about the baby. Steffy, however, insisted that she wouldn't use the baby to trap Liam. Bill and Taylor tried to convince Liam that he was making a big mistake with Steffy. While in a heated discussion with Hope, Steffy went on a tirade about the Logans. Hope warned Steffy to stop, but when Steffy continued to yell in Hope's face, Hope shoved Steffy into a desk. Marcus questioned Dayzee about some adoption papers that he and his brother had found, and Dayzee admitted that she might be in trouble.

What happened during the week of February 4, 2013
Brady fought with Sami after he learned that she and E.J. had reunited. Kristen thought of a new way to get back at John. She tried to convince Brady to marry her so that she could dump him at the altar. Gabi asked Nick about his scar, but he told her that he didn't want to talk about what had happened to him in prison. Rafe and Sami had a terrible fight about the custody of Will and Gabi's baby. Will gave his apartment key back to Sonny. Hope questioned Nicole about the stolen Titan files. Sami urged Will to get a paternity test to establish his rights to Gabi's child. Jennifer asked Nicole to fill her in on Chloe's plans for Daniel. Jennifer, Daniel, Brady, and Kristen drove to Chicago for a night on the town. Jennifer lied to Chloe about where she and Daniel were going on their date. Kristen acted drunk to try to get Brady to propose marriage. Chloe and Anne devised a plan to get between Daniel and Jennifer. Parker ended up at the hospital with a high fever, and Chloe was frantic to contact Daniel. Nicole fought her feelings for Eric. Nick devised a plan to keep Will away from Will's baby girl. Nick sent Lucas an anonymous text message. Lucas panicked, called Will, and then asked him who else knew that Will had shot E.J. Nick taped Lucas and Will's conversation as part of his plan to get Will out of the way permanently.

What happened during the week of February 4, 2013
Frisco returned. Maxie agreed to help Britt destroy Sabrina in exchange for keeping Maxie's secret. Starr made certain that Todd didn't fake dissociative identity disorder to avoid going to Pentonville. Heather, Todd, and Lucy escaped from Ferncliff and made their way to Wyndemere to hide out. Todd told Carly that he loved her and asked her to run away with him. Luke caught Todd and Carly together, so Luke blackmailed Carly to reveal what she knew about the missing Quartermaine heir. Carly told Luke that Franco had once mentioned a daughter named Lauren Frank, but conceded that it might have been one of Franco's mind games. Duke told A.J. and Michael that the solution to ELQ's problems might be Lila's Pickle-Lila Relish. Sonny overheard Tracy admit that she had leaked the damaging story about ELQ. Connie persuaded Sonny not to tell Michael about what Tracy had done. Sonny agreed to keep quiet about Tracy because he was grateful that Connie had tried to clear his name with Michael and that she had recanted her story to help Kristina. Kristina was sentenced to community service. Rafe was arrested for Alison's murder, but he accused John of the slaying. John realized that Caleb might be a real person. Caleb used his resemblance to John to get Rafe out of jail and then later murdered a police officer. Rafe escaped from Caleb's clutches.

The Underground successfully reopened. Dylan flashed back to Avery giving him a rock as a lucky charm. He left the rock on the bar and planned to leave, but Avery found the rock and confronted him. Avery told Nick about her history with Dylan. Nick realized that Dylan was still deeply in love with Avery. Sharon advised Avery to take time to decide which man she loved, and Avery planned a business trip. Marcus and Leslie separately tried to get Avery to provide information about her case. Marcus ran into Leslie and called her "Valerie." Adam invited Sharon to dinner to celebrate an acquisition deal, and they kissed. Victor paid Mason to replace Sharon's medication with placebos, but Mason couldn't follow through with the plan. Neil nixed Cane's idea to make Chelsea part of Jabot's new fashion line. Adriana handcuffed Alex to a railing and fled with the money. Alex admitted to Noah that Adriana was Alex's sister. Nikki returned from a mysterious trip to Chicago. She asked Victor to wait to get married until their new house was ready. Victor answered a call from Nikki's doctor. Chloe disapproved of Kevin's scheme to burn down Crimson Lights for the insurance money. Jack's dealer dropped off a pill sample, but Phyllis confiscated it. Jack asked Neil to be his sponsor. Katherine forgot about an important meeting, and she purchased pills to help improve her memory. Michael took Jamie's statement that Fen had pushed Jamie off the roof. Fen realized that Jamie might have jumped because Fen had bullied him. Lauren blamed Michael for Fen's arrest.

Ryan and Ethan set their plan in motion to expose Zach. Erica's Mardi Gras Gala began. Babe was determined to have her revenge. Ryan tried to convince Kendall that Zach had caused the blackout. Zach arrived just as Ryan was telling Kendall the truth. Janet cornered Erica in a private room at the Gala. Zach admitted causing the blackout and explained why he had done so to Kendall. Kendall ran away from Zach. Ryan told Julia he had only wanted Kendall to know the truth. JR reached a decision about Babe. Kendall wanted nothing to do with Ryan. Zach refused to give up on Kendall. Amanda was cleared when Erica learned about Josh's misdeeds. Kendall refused to forgive Zach or Ryan. Kendall accused Ethan of being out for revenge. Tad convinced Erica that his preposterous theory about Greg was true.

A look at what was happening the week of February 6, 2006
The girl that Luke hit with his car was Jade, a young woman who claimed that Rose was her mother. Lily called the orphanage to confirm Jade's claims and learned that Rose had a biracial daughter. Gwen and Will were on the run. Barbara pressed charges against Gwen for attacking her. However, Gwen and Will found an ally in Maddie. Jack didn't know about Carly's job at the strip club, but Nick did. Carly and Barbara had a fight about Gwen and Will. Jack caught Carly and Nick together. Emily was convinced Paul was alive and still loved her. Margo searched Paul's room but didn't recognize him. Jennifer met a "psychic" who talked to her about Paul. The psychic was working for Paul.

Harley and Mallet made love, but it was a knee-jerk reaction and familiar comfort, as Mallet tried to help her deal with Gus's "death." Afterward, Harley insisted that they needed to make their own lives and convinced Mallet that Dinah, who Mallet really cared about, was his future. Beth continued to keep her identity from Gus and Alan as she played the sympathetic friend to Harley and the mourning widow to the rest of the Spauldings. Ava was onto Lizzie's game with Quinn but decided to keep silent for the moment. Jeffrey admitted that he had slept with Cassie, but Cassie was not the one to learn that truth. Josh rebuffed Reva's Valentine treat, and Billy advised Reva that she just might lose Josh if she didn't straighten things out quickly as Olivia might actually pose a real threat to their future. Jonathan had an epiphany regarding his relationship with Tammy and found a way, with her help, to exorcise all his past demons and concentrate on their future together. Sandy continued scheming to find his way back to Tammy by erasing Jonathan from the picture.

John and Natalie worked on their friendship, and John finally began to open up to Dr. Crosby while he was boxing. Cristian was offered a chance to box for a $1,000 prize, and Natalie begged him not to. R.J. proposed to Lindsay, but Lindsay said no. Niki convinced Jessica that Viki was to blame for what had happened to her because Niki had never been meant to be a mother. Clint, Antonio, and Nash found Niki and Tess's cabin, but they got there right after the women had hitched a ride with a passing truck. Upon Todd's sentencing, Blair flipped out in court and had a panic attack. Later, she fell into Spencer's arms and had sex with him. Margaret had a breach birth, causing Spencer to strong-arm Paige into assisting. Spencer gave Paige evidence that implicated Paige and Bo in the framing of Todd if she told anyone about Margaret. Rex threw Adriana a party for her first Craze issue. Dorian convinced Todd to drop his appeal. Denton hinted to David that Todd might not be guilty and that he would spill his info if David paid him.

In Hawaii, Chris and Sheridan continued their search for Marty, but all of their efforts were thwarted, and Chris even took a beatdown from the mob. To top it off, Chris was working a deal on the side. Sheridan found out and followed him until he slipped away. When Chris returned to the hotel room, Sheridan lit into him and said that she knew he was working for her father. Chris proved that she was thoroughly wrong and showed her what he'd taken back from his afternoon adventure. He got down on one knee and proposed. Theresa wasted no time in asserting authority after finding herself in power. She scared Ethan's new employer into rescinding his job offer. Ethan angrily declared that he'd go somewhere else and get a job far away from her. Theresa declared that she'd always be there to intimidate anyone who took the least interest in hiring him. She tried to convince him to stay because of their passion. He wouldn't budge, so offered to set him up as co-CEO and asked him to take on his dream project of redeveloping a downtrodden part of Harmony -- Crawford Street. Ethan looked like he was softening and was considering Theresa's offer. After explaining to Fox that she couldn't accept his marriage proposal while the planets weren't aligned propitiously, Kay agreed to be engaged to be engaged. The news elated Fox, who promptly went to ask Sam for his daughter's hand. Kay had forgotten about the threat living next door, but Ivy reminded her when she heard there would be wedding bells in the distance. Ivy immediately started plotting how she could get Miguel home to drive a wedge between her son and "that little tramp." At the news of Kay and Fox's impending nuptials, Valerie decided to resign before she was fired. Fox begged her to stay and then assigned Kay to that task. After digging into Val's personal story and finding that she was the sole support of her family who lived in a poor part of town -- Crawford Street -- Kay managed to get Valerie to stay, with the caveat that she leave the lovers alone. Right after Kay confided in Theresa that she and Fox were headed for the altar, Theresa called Miguel and tried to convince him to return home because there were a lot of big changes that he should be home to see. Noah tended to Maya's wounds and ended up rescuing her when she passed out in the shower, just as Fancy walked in and saw them in what looked like a cheating moment. She flipped out until he took her to a diner outside town to tell Fancy the whole story. A car drove right through the diner, pinning them under the car and rubble. Noah was shaken, but Fancy was severely injured. She had glass embedded in her eye, and she might lose it.
